Research On The Design Of Changsha Kiln Ceramic Tea Containers Based On The Concept Of Symbiosis

In recent years,as nation and society attach great importance to intangible heritage culture of Changsha Kiln,and development of relevant cultural industries aroused trend of studying Changsha Kiln.The philosophy of symbiosis connects two kinds of heterogeneous element and make them coexist to form a mutually beneficial and symbionic mode.In order to find effective method from traditional culture of Changsha Kiln and modern design,this subject introduced philosophy of symbiosis to inheritance and development of traditional culture of Changsha Kiln.The study object of the paper is tea container of Changsha Kiln and aims at combining tea container of Changsha Kiln with modern design so as to design products conform to modern aesthetics and make traditional crafts of Changsha Kiln return to modern life.The subject adopted many methods to conduct study,such as literature research,field observation,case analysis,investigative research,experimental research,etc.The first chapter was applied with literature analysis method to induce and analyze starting point of subject,and proposed innovations of this study.The second chapter employed literature analysis method and searched massive literature to expound theory of symbiosis,and analyzed theoretical development of symbiosis in the field of design and and applications of symbiosis in the field of design.On this basis,it tried to deeply comprehend symbiosis and proposed to apply symbiosis to inheritance and development of traditional crafts.The third chapter adopted literature analysis to sort out traditional crafts procedure and artistic feature of Changsha Kiln,historical source and development of traditional ceramics of tea container.Meanwhile,it applied field observation method to make on-the-spot investigation to Tongguan county,visited shops,interviewed inheritors and factory responsible person,visited collection sample of Changsha Tongguan Museum and collected image and audio.Thus,it summarized development status of tea container of modern Changsha Kiln and pointed out major issues of tea container,such as obvious homogenization of products,small coverage,single receptor,hard to adapt modern lifestyle and aesthetics,varied quality and so many other inharmonious phenomena between "objects" and "human being".On the basis of primary fundamental theory and study,the fourth chapter proposed necessity of symbiosis of Changsha Kiln’s tea container and modern design.In addition,it combined with case analysis to decompose design of traditional crafts in the perspective of symbiosis,and summed up strategy of symbiosis design of Changsha Kiln’s tea container.The fifth chapter learned about public’s demand for Changsha Kiln’s tea container in form of questionnaire,and utilized experiment research in consideration of Changsha Kiln’s artistic feature to innovate design of products,so as to prove availability of symbiotic design.According to the study,it can be discovered that the relationship between Changsha Kiln’s traditional crafts and modern design is supplementary,mutually beneficial and symbiotic.Integrating and symbiosing Changsha Kiln’s traditional crafts with modern design is the root of connecting Changsha Kiln with history,modern times and future,and focal point of inheriting and developing Changsha Kiln.In addition,it used the finally induced symbiosis design strategy to provide guidance for designing Changsha Kiln’s tea container,and testified availability of this method.This study not only supplemented symbiosis philosophy in the field of designing ceramic products and improved scientificalness and innovation of design,but contributed efforts in advocating traditional culture of Changsha Kiln.This method can be also applied to modernized innovative design of other traditional crafts.
