| Grinding,as a finishing method,has been widely used in the field of machinery manufacturing.The application of forming grinding wheels and superhard grinding wheels in industrial production is becoming more and more extensive.The study of their dressing process is of great practical significance to achieve high-precision and high-quality grinding of parts,and then to improve the fatigue resistance of parts.At present,the research on the mechanism of forming grinding wheel dressing is relatively complete,but the research on the grinding surface integrity of the forming grinding wheel dressing process is relatively small,so it is necessary to study the effect of the form dressing process on the integrity of the ground surface.In this paper,a grinding wheel dressing device is designed and manufactured.The three tools of resin bond diamond disc wheel,bronze bond diamond disc wheel and single particle diamond pen are used to dress the chrome corundum grinding wheel with a specific profile.The influence of various dressing process parameters on the surface three-dimensional roughness and surface residual stress of 18CrNiMo7-6 steel grinding was studied by orthogonal experiments,and use the green silicon carbide roller to grind the dressing resin CBN grinding wheel,through the single factor experiment to study the effect of the dressing process parameters on the threedimensional surface roughness of the grinding 18CrNiMo7-6 steel,so as to explore the method that can obtain better surface integrity.Grinding wheel dressing process.The results of the study are as follows:(1)For forming grinding wheel dressing and resin CBN grinding wheel dressing,with the increase of dressing depth ad,axial feed rate fd,and dressing speed ratio qd,the grinding three-dimensional surface roughness Sa,Sq and Sku increase,Ssk decrease and the surface quality becomes poor.For forming grinding wheel dressing,with the increase of dressing depth ad,dressing speed ratio qd,and axial feed rate fd,the grinding wheel grinding surface is more likely to form residual compressive stress that is beneficial to improving fatigue resistance.(2)Under the same forming and dressing parameters,it is easier to obtain grinding residual compressive stress after dressing with bronze-bonded diamond disc wheel.However,it is easy to obtain a smoother grinding surface after dressing with singleparticle diamond pen.(3)The normalized dimensionless method is used to comprehensively evaluate the grinding surface integrity of the three dressing tools.Within the selected parameter range,when dressing with bronze bond diamond disc wheel,the ground surface integrity is better than the other two dressing methods.When ad,fd and qd are respectively 4 μm,100 mm/min and 0.3 when using bronze bond diamond disc wheel dressing,the comprehensive value reaches 0.706182.At this time,the grinding surface integrity can achieve better results. |
