In September 2020,China clearly put forward the goals of "peak carbon dioxide emissions" in 2030 and "carbon neutrality"in 2060,accelerating the adjustment of energy structure to new energy,and the development of energy industry will be characterized by low carbon,diversification and intelligence.Coal and electricity will be transformed into cascade efficient utilization,and the power supply system with new energy as the main power supply will be gradually built.Coal and electricity will become the auxiliary power supply for peak shaving and frequency modulation,and the utilization hours of units will be greatly reduced.At the same time,the market-oriented reform in the energy field is further promoted,and all kinds of power sources compete for the Internet,and the competition among power generation enterprises will become more intense.The new requirements of high-quality economic development and the new situation of power market reform force coal-fired power enterprises to make strategic transformation and change the original business structure,development strategy and management mode.Based on theories of strategic management,development strategy,and corporate life cycle,this thesis uses literature research methods,interview research methods,questionnaire survey methods,empirical analysis methods,PEST analysis,Porter’s five forces analysis,SWOT,McKinsey matrix and other analytical tools to research the Laicheng power plant Through the analysis of the external environment,it is found that thermal power companies are facing huge challenges in national policy,technological change and market competition during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.Meanwhile,there is also a large opportunity for transformation and development.The Laicheng power plants have certain advantages in industy and resource.such as accelerating transformation and upgrading,achieving sustainable and high-quality development.Based on the above analysis,this thesis proposes that the Laicheng Power Plant should adopt a development strategy that combines differentiation and cost leadership,through the expansion of the heating market,the flexibility of units,and the multi-energy co-supply to obtain regional monopoly and product differentiation advantages to create value Blue Ocean,cultivate new profit growth points,and promote the transformation and upgrading of enterprises from traditional coal-fired power to comprehensive energy service providers during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.At the business level,they can reduce the production energy consumption by wasting heat utilization,energy-saving technological transformation and improving optimization.The Laicheng Power Plant’s "14th Five-Year Plan" development strategy and implementation and safeguard measures are made in this thesis.This subject is an applied research,which mainly uses mature corporate strategic management theories to analyze the severe situation faced by coal-fired power companies,combined with the individual actualities of the the Laicheng power plant,and through scientific analysis tools,to propose my country’s traditional coal-fired power generation during the "14th Five-Year Plan"period.The main innovations of this thesis are as follows:First of all,this thesis puts forward the integrated development strategy of the case enterprise during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.The second is to build an evaluation system of strategic elements and core competitiveness indicators of case companies.The third is to formulate the implementation path and measures of the integrated development strategy of the case enterprise.The fourth is to set up a standard process and framework template for state-owned coal power enterprises to formulate medium and long-term development strategies. |
