Soil heavy metal pollution range is wide, the retention time is long,is not easy to degrade in the environment, has been widely concerned. The old mining area of Tianbaoshan used to be one of the major mining areas of non-ferrous metals in China. However, there are few studies on the distribution characteristics of soil heavy metals and their ecological risk and health risk assessment in tianbaoshan and its surrounding areas. This study day baoshan region near the old mining area as the study area, surface soil, using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry determination of 15 kinds of heavy metal content, surveyed the area level of heavy metal concentrations in soil, kriging interpolation method was used to study the spatial distribution characteristics of accumulation exponential method is used to evaluate the pollution,Combined with multivariate statistical analysis, the potential sources of heavy metals were discussed, and the potential ecological and health risks were assessed. The main results are as follows:(1)The concentrations of heavy metals to be measured in various soils were determined by ICP-MS,and the measured data were analyzed and calculated. The results showed that the average concentration of Cr,Co,Ni,Pb,As,Se,Mo and Ag in surface soil exceeded the soil background value of Jilin City.Compared with the agricultural land pollution risk screening value(GB 15618-2018),the proportion of As and Se in soil samples exceeded the risk control value was 12.25% and 32.38%,respectively.The proportion of sample points based on risk screening value were6.67% and 26.85%,respectively.(2)The kriging interpolation method was used to study the spatial distribution of heavy metals. The results showed that the contents of Co,Mn and V were higher in Xinhe Township. The contents of Ag,Co,V and As are higher in Sandaowan Town. The contents of Se,Tl,Mo and Sb were higher in Shimen Town. The content of Ba,Co,Cr,Cu,Mn,Ni,Se,Tl,V,Zn and As in Laogou Town is relatively high. The reason is that the sampling site in laogou Town is close to Tianbaoshan Copper and Zinc mining area, which leads to high concentration of many heavy metals. The content of As and Mn is higher in Toudao Town. The contents of Co,Mo,V,Ag and As are higher in Xiaoying Town. The contents of Ba,Co,Cr,Ni,Se,Tl and As were higher in Chaoyang Chuan Town.(3)Tianbao Mountain area around heavy metal principal component analysis results show that the Tl,Pb mainly results from human activities such As mining,Cr,Ni,Co stems mainly from soil parent material,Mo pollution is the result of the combination of mining operations and agricultural activity,V pollution is the result of the mining operations,As air pollution is the result of the combination of mining operations and agricultural activities.(4)Ba,Tl,V and Pb in Tianbao Mountain were pollution-free,Mn,Co,Zn,Ag,Ni,Cr,Cu and Sb were slightly polluted, and As,Mo and Se were slightly polluted. Most of the soil samples were contaminated with As and Se,most of which were at moderate pollution level, and some of Se even reached severe pollution.(5)The potential ecological index RI of Tianbao Mountain research area was 199,indicating that the research area was at a moderate level of ecological risk, indicating that the damage degree of the area was moderate, and the main elements constituting ecological risk were As and Se.(6)In terms of the exposure amount of soil pollutants in the surrounding area of Tianbao Mountain, the non-carcinogenic heavy metal exposure pathway has the highest respiratory intake, while the carcinogenic heavy metal exposure pathway has the highest hand-oral intake. In the non-carcinogenic risk assessment, the total noncarcinogenic risk index of As in the respiratory and inhalation pathway was 1.311 for adults and 1.753 for children, and the total non-carcinogenic risk index HI was greater than 1,which constituted non-carcinogenic health risk to human body.In the evaluation of carcinogenic risk, the carcinogenic risk index TCR is less than 1,which does not pose carcinogenic health risk to human body.
