Aramid is a kind of high-performance fiber,which is widely used.It is widely used as raw materials in aerospace,national defense,automobile and other industries.However,there are obvious differences in structure,performance and price between meta-aramid and para-aramid,so it is very important to distinguish them efficiently and accurately.At present,there are few reports about qualitative identification and quantitative analysis of two kinds of aramid fiber,so it is necessary to carry out in-depth and detailed research.In this paper,X-ray diffraction,near-infrared spectroscopy,mid-infrared spectroscopy,far-infrared spectroscopy,Raman spectroscopy,TG-FTIR,photolysis-infrared spectroscopy and terahertz time-domain spectroscopy are used to study the meta-aramid and para-aramid,and the method suitable for qualitative identification of two kinds of aramid fiber are concluded.Then select the method suitable for qualitative identification of aramid blended fiber for research,so as to initially explore the method of quantitative analysis of aramid blended fiber.The results show that: X-ray diffraction,near-infrared spectroscopy,mid-infrared spectroscopy,far-infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy can identify two kinds of aramid fiber.In addition,X-ray diffraction,mid-infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy can also be used for qualitative identification of aramid fiber blends.The mid-infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy can be used for quantitative analysis of aramid fiber blends.However,the mid-infrared spectroscopy needs second derivative processing before quantitative analysis of aramid fiber blends.The structure of Kevlar49 is slightly different from that of other para-aramid.Near-infrared spectroscopy can be used as an effective identification method,while TG can be used for preliminary identification of Kevlar 49.
