As a functional material applied in many fields,magnesium hydroxide film has a large market,but the preparation method still has problems such as high cost,unstable film structure,poor continuity,and easy agglomeration.Using active magnesium oxide as raw material,the film-like magnesium hydroxide was prepared by hydration precipitation method.The variation of magnesium hydroxide performance and the growth mechanism of two-dimensional magnesium hydroxide were studied by means of SEM,XRD,FTIR and laser particle size.Magnesium oxide film provides reference.The effect of external force on the morphology of magnesium hydroxide was studied without adding modifier.The results show that the ultrasonic effect is better than the stirring and no external force mode.At the hydration temperature of 75°C,the ultrasonic power of 100W,and the reaction time of 120min,the flaky magnesium hydroxide with great dispersibility can be prepared;Under the condition of adding modifiers,the effects of the types of organic additives,their addition time,addition amount,ultrasonic power and ultrasonic temperature on the morphology of magnesium hydroxide were studied.The results showed that the modification effect of polyhydric alcohol additives(glycerol)easily made the magnesium hydroxide crystals grow along the hexagonal plate.When 6.3g/L glycerol was added in the hydration reaction for 0min,the particle size was uniform,the morphology was the most regular and dispersed.Great hexagonal flake magnesium hydroxide,and when 0.132mol/L triethanolamine is added in the hydration reaction for 0min,uniform and continuous thin film magnesium hydroxide can be obtained.According to the dissolution-precipitation mechanism analysis,the growth mechanism of two-dimensional magnesium hydroxide:dissolution of Mg O→diffusion of Mg2+→nucleation of growth elements→defects of growth elements→two-dimensional magnesium hydroxide,and the film growth mode is layered stacking Growth;The hydrophobic properties of the compounding agent showed that the sodium hydroxide and triethanolamine(sodium stearate:triethanolamine=1:4.875)had the best hydrophobic properties when the compounding was carried out,and the contact angle was 80.56°.With the modification of organic additives,two-dimensional nanometer magnesium hydroxide can be prepared by hydration precipitation method under normal pressure and ultrasonic assistance,which provides a way for the high value-added utilization of magnesium resources in China and provides an idea for the preparation of magnesium hydroxide film.Figure 76;Table 2;Reference 87...
