In the steel production process,a large amount of zinc-containing dust is produced,and these dusts are classified into low-zinc dust,medium-low zinc dust,medium-zinc dust,medium-high zinc dust,and high-zinc dust according to the zinc content.Many zinc elements form zinc ferrite.The current treatment process usually destroys the structure of zinc ferrite to recover zinc and iron and its cause high energy consumption.As a square spinel metal oxide,zinc ferrite has a wide range of applications in anti-rust materials,gas-sensitive materials,high-temperature gas desulfurizers and dye wastewater treatment agents.By selecting zinc-containing dust from a company in Tangshan and Handan as research objects,the characteristics of the content and phase composition for different elements in the dust were discussed.Enrichment of zinc ferrite in sieved dust by magnetic separation.It can be known that the zinc element in the two types of zinc-containing dust is zinc ferrite,and after screening,zinc ferrite is concentrated in the zinc-containing dust with a particle size of less than 48μm.When the magnetic field strength is controlled at 120m T,the zinc ferrite enrichment rate is the highest.The leaching of impurities in two kinds of zinc-containing dusts,combined with thermodynamic analysis,explored the optimal conditions for the leaching of impurities.The effects of leaching time,leaching temperature,initial acid concentration,liquid-solid ratio,and stirring speed on the leaching of impurities were investigated.The results show that in the acid leaching experiment under the optimal process conditions,the leaching rates of Ca CO3and Fe2O3were 97%and 83%,respectively.The mass fractions of zinc-containing dust Zn Fe2O4from a company in Tangshan and Handan were 80.28%and 84.75%respectively.According to the leaching results,the kinetic leaching processes of Ca CO3and Fe2O3were analyzed,both leaching processes of the two impurities belonged to the internal diffusion control reaction model.Figure 46;Table 17;Reference 64...
