In sugar industry,sugar crystallization process is the lowest degree of automation,and the measurement of Brix is the key technology to realize automatic control of sugar crystallization process.Among many methods of measuring Brix,microwave method has the advantages of good stability and high accuracy.However,there are few studies on Microwave Brix measurement in China.And although the microwave Brix measurement technology abroad is relatively mature,there are few related research literatures published.Therefore,this paper studies a method of measuring the Brix of syrup based on microwave technology,in order to explore the realization method of microwave Brix measurement.The main research contents include:(1)Firstly study the conversion calculation method from microwave electromagnetic parameters to Brix of syrup.Secondly,according to the principle of microwave measurement,it studies the microwave characteristics of syrup,and establish the calculation model of Brix of syrup based on microwave measurement.The research includes two aspects:the calculation model of Brix of syrup based on complex dielectric constant inversion and the calculation model of Brix of syrup with neural network.(2)This paper firstly studies the influence of different structural parameters and microwave parameters measuring the Brix of syrup,and finds the optimal combination of parameters.Secondly built the model of Brix measurement by simulating the microwave measurement process of Brix with HFSS software.Then study the measuring effects of microwave signal frequency,microwave signal power and probe distance by simulation.Next,the orthogonal experiment method is used to simulate the parameters.And for finding the better combination of measurement parameters,use the multi-index optimization analysis method to study the influence priority of each factor.Finally,it searches the optimal combination of measurement parameters by using the Optimetrics parameter optimization function of HFSS.(3)Aiming at the microwave measurement scheme,design the related measurement hardwares.These include:antenna probes for transmitting and receiving microwave signals;microwave signal sources for generating specific frequencies with low phase noise;methods for measuring signal attenuation amplitude ratio and signal phase shift;high-precision amplitude and phase detection module;hardware composition and specific implementation circuit of the in-put control system for controlling the whole measurement process,and providing convenient human-computer interaction embedding".(4)According to the hardware of the measurement system,the driving software is developed to realize the automatic on-line measurement function.The research and development of the software include:driver software for generating excitation signal module with specific frequency and parameters;signal acquisition software for automatic data acquisition;communication interface for data communication between module and module,upper computer and embedded module;and human-computer interaction interface for displaying data and setting measurement parameters.(5)Through many experiments,the reliability,stability and accuracy of the algorithms and software-hardware system developed in this paper are verified and analyzed,and compare the measurement results of the two models proposed in this paper.
