Water reducer is a ceramic additive,also known as dispersant,thinner,and is widely used in ceramic production technology.It can be used to improve the liquidity and stability of the mud,keep the appropriate viscosity under the condition of the low moisture content,and get a good process performance.Diluent can generally be divided into inorganic diluents,organic diluents and polymeric diluents.The inorganic diluents which stand for the traditional diluents have gradually been eliminated,and the new types of diluents which are mixed by organic diluents and inorganic diluents are widely used instead of them.The dilution effect of the composite diluents is obviously superior to the dilution effect of the single inorganic diluents.And the composite diluents have the low price than the polymeric diluents’,so they have been widely applied.In this dissertation,isopropanol was used as a chain transfer agent,and(NH4)2S208 was used as an initiator to synthesize sodium polyacrylate by aqueous solution polymerization.A novel organic-inorganic composite dispersant was developed.The main components were sodium polyacrylate and polymetaphosphate.Sodium,sodium hexametaphosphate,and its effect on the dilution of ceramic raw materials compared to single sodium polyacrylate;and a new blue ceramic ink prepared by dispersion method,through the laser particle size distribution and Zeta potential meter,NDJ-7 type The equipment such as rotational viscometer and precision p H meter were used to study the effect of cobalt blue colorant,polymer dispersant system,solvent system,and other minor additives on the physical and chemical properties of the ceramic ink.The experimental results show that the synthesis temperature with a good water reduction effect is 50°C: calculated as the specific gravity of the substance in water:isopropyl alcohol 150%,ammonium persulfate 4%,and acrylic acid 70%.The molecular weight of sodium polyacrylate is about 2600.The best water-reducing effect is when the amount of water-reducing agent is 0.1%,and the dehydration range of water-reducing agent is 0.1%-0.5%.The optimal mass ratio of sodium tripolyphosphate and sodium polyacrylate is 3:1.At this time,the optimal addition amount of the composite water-reducing agent is 0.2%,and the deagglomeration range is 0.2% to0.8%.The decoagulant reduces the viscosity of the ceramic slurry system and increases the enthalpy-potential of the slurry to achieve a stable dispersion of the slurry system.At the same time,it releases excess free water in the mud system,thereby reducing water and decondensing and improving the fluidity of the mud.
