| Real-time monitoring of neurotransmitters will offer critical information for understanding neural function and diagnosing disease. In this paper,a flexible electrochemical biosensor suitable for detecting serotonin(5-HT)in different body fluids is developed based on boron and nitrogen co-doped vertical graphene(BNVG).The BNVG nanosheets are vertically grown on flexible tantalum substrates by chemical vapor deposition. The electrochemical active sites were regulated by changing the contents of B and N in graphene of BNVG film. The BNVG-based biosensor exhibited a quantitative response towards 5-HT in the p H range of 5.0 to 9.0.The linear concentration range does not depend on the p H environment. With the change of p H value, the detection concentration range of the sensor for 5-HT is 0.80 to 224.43 μM.The ranges of detection limits(S/N = 3)were 0.058 to 0.266 μM for 5-HT.The BNVG-based biosensor has detected 5-HT in gastric juice, intestinal juice, and blood samples, with high sensitivity and stability. This paper also provides a flexible small portable test box for the detection of 5-HT,and carries out physical detection of rabbit plasma and serum. The results show that the well-designed BNVGbiointerface can be an effective method for the biosensor platform for neurotransmitter 5-HT. |
