The Junggar basin has been carrying out oil exploration, production and research for decades. The basin has made remarkable achievements in drilling and has produced rich oil.As a key stratum,Permian has great hydrocarbon generation potential.Although significant achievements have been made, further research is still needed.Based on the statistical analysis of 17 typical wells drilled and exposed in Permian and 2046 geochemical data, this thesis evaluates and calibrates the organic matter abundance, organic matter types and rock pyrolysis data of Permian source rocks.Through the logging evaluation of typical well source rocks, combined with the analysis of organic geochemical characteristics and sedimentary environment, the Permian source rocks in Junggar basin are graded and divided into organic facies,so as to determine the spatial distribution of source rocks. The research shows that Permian source rocks are developed in almost all depressions of Junggar basin, and high-quality source rocks are mainly developed in Fengcheng Formation,Pingdiquan formation and Lucaogou Formation.Among them, the thickness of lacustrine source rocks of Fengcheng Formation is more than 200 m,mainly distributed in Mahu sag and Shawan sag, mainly developing C-phase source rocks. The types of source rocks of Jiamuhe Formation and lower Wuerhe formation developed in Mahu sag are poor, and the initial HI is less than 200 mg / g TOC.They are mainly F-phase source rocks and do not have oil generation capacity.Dongdaohaizi sag mainly develops Pingdiquan formation C-phase and D / E source rocks, with a maximum thickness of 150 m.Lucaogou Formation is distributed in Bogda Piedmont and jimusar sag.The organic facies of source rocks are mainly C-phase,with a thickness of 100 m ~ 200 m.Generally speaking, the distribution of Permian high-quality source rocks in Junggar basin has obvious East-West block characteristics.
