| Communication Technology is an important link to promote the development of social informatization and digitalization,and it has shaped today’s social form together with information technology.The huge social network formed by modern communication technology and the diversified communication terminals have almost replaced all the functional organs that express and transmit information,which has a fundamental impact on people’s social life.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to analyze the revolution of communication technology from the perspective of technical philosophy.The analysis of its technical structure,social effects,essential development and reasons will help us grasp the development form of technology and society under the new form of modern communication technology development.In this paper,firstly,the related concepts of communication technology revolution and the specific forms of communication technology in different historical periods are dealt with,and on this basis,three essential forms of communication technology revolution are sorted out,namely,communication technology for transmitting information,communication technology for processing signals and communication technology for carrying information.These three forms are actually aimed at different parts of the communication system,that is,the materiality of information,the diversity of signal forms and the storage properties of communication technology.The development of these three aspects has made the communication technology system expand continuously and summarized into three characteristics.In terms of technical development,the relationship between different communication technology forms is compatible with each other rather than replacing each other,which has formed a systematic functional system among various communication technologies at the social level.In technical geography,it extends from the country to the whole planet;In terms of technical system,other technologies are continuously integrated to unify the technical world in the communication network.What promotes the development of communication technology is not only its own shortcomings,but also the needs of social development and the impact of technology.Then,the characteristics of communication technology revolution are analyzed,and the possible reasons are sorted into three stages according to historical development,namely,the symbolic process of meaning divorced from tangible things,the information value orientation brought by mass media and its influence on time and space view,and the media development of communication technology itself,emphasizing the focus of communication technology revolution in different stages.On the basis of inheriting the characteristics of communication technology revolution,modern communication technology has further brought us into the information world.The appearance of this world has blurred the boundary between virtual and reality,further concealed the ability of objects to show us their own abilities and hindered the cognitive development of subjects.Modern communication technologies such as 5G,Big Data and Internet of Things have brought convenience to our lives,but also brought many new problems.Therefore,in the third part,the influence of modern communication technology revolutions in the field of cognition and practice is discussed,and human beings are called upon to pay attention to the fact that everything in the information world is reducible data,and what we see is not what it presents to us.Only by recognizing this can we get out of the maze of the information world and restore the freedom of the subject. |
