Abstract/Summary:
With the continuous advancement of geological research,a large amount of digital information such as textures,3D models, and text descriptions of geological outcrops has been accumulated. In order to manage these data efficiently and to conduct comprehensive spatial retrieval of outcrops, thesis research has been carried out.GIS has a powerful spatial retrieval function and has been successfully applied to information retrieval and management in various industries.Among them, the application of GIS in the management of geological information is gradually increasing, but there is a lack of research on spatial retrieval methods from the perspective of geological features. In this paper,we study the spatial retrieval method of GIS from the perspective of geological features.(1)This paper takes the Sichuan Basin as the study area and conducts research based on the outcrop data accumulated by the project team. The conceptual model, layer stratification and logical model of the Sichuan Basin spatial database were designed. On this premise,a spatial search map of the Sichuan Basin was established in SuperMap i Desktop 10 i,including geological features such as geotectonics, stratigraphy, lithology of the Deng Ying Formation of the Earthquake Series, and lithology of the Crippian Formation of the Cambrian Series. In order to reflect the real geographical environment of the Sichuan Basin outcrop,a 3D geographical scene of the Sichuan Basin was built.(2)In this paper,a spatial retrieval method based on geological features is proposed. The method is divided into two major parts. They are integrated spatial retrieval and integrated information retrieval. The integrated spatial retrieval is divided into six subsections according to the initial retrieval conditions. They are stratigraphy as the initial search condition, geotectonics as the initial search condition, folding as the initial search condition, lithology as the initial search condition, petrographic paleogeography as the initial search condition, and administrative division as the initial search condition. The comprehensive spatial search can find outcrops that meet various conditions and obtain its properties and spatial information. The comprehensive information query is to obtain the spatial location and attribute information of the outcrop by pointing and clicking the outcrop on the map,and after comprehensive query. Finally, the two-way query of outcrops and information is realized.(3)The geological feature-based spatial retrieval method was implemented with the support of C#.NET coding platform and SuperMap i Objects.NET development platform.Firstly,a requirement analysis was conducted, including functional requirements and data requirements.Among them, the functional requirements were expressed by use case diagrams and the data requirements were expressed by data flow diagrams. Then the overall design was carried out, including the overall architecture design and functional module design.Among them, three layers of architecture and four functional modules were designed. Then the detailed design was carried out, including static structure design and dynamic structure design.Among them, the static structure design is represented by class diagram and the dynamic structure design is represented by timing diagram. Finally,it was applied to the query and management of Sichuan basin outcrop information, and the application results were demonstrated.Through the research of this paper,a spatial retrieval method based on geological features is derived and applied to the management of outcrop information in the Sichuan Basin.Compared with traditional paper management methods, document management methods and information system management methods, this method not only has high retrieval efficiency, but also combines geological features and GIS spatial retrieval methods to achieve efficient retrieval and information query of outcrops.
