Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,with the continuous deepening of oil and gas exploration and development,the underground structures of newly discovered oil and gas fields have become more complex.In the past,conventional two-dimensional seismic data and exploration techniques were difficult to accurately depict the structural characteristics of certain complex rock formations,and were usually only used to identify the geometric morphological characteristics of two-dimensional structural units and the simple lithological characteristics of isotropic media.They were unable to complete the accurate imaging of three-dimensional volumetric structural units and the lithological exploration of their anisotropic(isotropic)media,and were unable to accurately describe the structural lithological distribution characteristics of complex areas.Therefore,it affects the judgment and targeting of the target,and affects the success rate and accuracy of well location deployment,well trajectory design,etc.,and the traditional well trajectory design method based on 2D seismic data enters the target in the deflection section,and horizontal sand body tracking,etc.,there are large risk points and uncertainties.Traditional 3D interpretation still retains traces of 2D interpretation,that is,using3 D seismic data as encrypted 2D seismic data for structural interpretation can lead to a series of problems,such as the unclosed phenomenon of horizons and faults,and the unreasonable combination of faults,which cannot effectively and accurately guide well trajectory design.With the development of technology,current 3D interpretation has the advantages of high data density,rich information,and accurate spatial classification imaging.Well trajectory design based on current 3D seismic data can not only obtain better pre drilling structure and fine reservoir characterization,assist in design on 3D visual images,but also more intuitively and accurately locate the target area,improve the success rate of target entry,and improve the drilling rate of horizontal sand bodies.Starting from the premise of taking 3D seismic data as the design basis,this article will establish a structural model and analyze the principles and methods of well trajectory design,combining with the problems and analysis encountered in well trajectory design,and then propose countermeasures to reduce the error in well trajectory design and even optimize the design method by reducing the relevant errors in3 D seismic data interpretation,so as to improve the success rate of target penetration and the drilling rate of horizontal sand bodies,Apply 3D seismic data for precise delineation of pre drilling structures and reservoirs,combined with LWD(logging while drilling)data for geological guidance.LWD mainly uses downhole instruments to describe the formation situation through real-time data transmitted during drilling,and conducts fine modeling to guide well trajectory design and promote more accurate well trajectory design based on 3D seismic data.
