| Due to the body’s own reasons or external damage, accidental damage to the wing and tail wing of the aircraft may occur in any flight state.Wing damage not only leads to structural damage, but also directly affects the aerodynamic characteristics of the aircraft and endangers the flight safety of the aircraft. In this paper,a numerical simulation study is carried out on the aerodynamic characteristics of aircraft with different degrees of wing damage under different flight conditions.Firstly, the simplified A320 aircraft is numerically simulated by computational fluid dynamics(CFD)method. In the numerical simulation, the aircraft is geometrically modeled by Siemens NX,the fluid domain is constructed by Space Claim, and the high-quality hexahedral grid is generated by Fluent Meshing. After comparison, the SST k-ω turbulence model and Coupled algorithm are selected to solve the grid.By comparing with the experimental data, the correctness and effectiveness of the simulation method are verified. Finally, the method is used to solve the international general transport aircraft(CRM)model, and the effect of wing damage on aerodynamic characteristics is calculated. The aerodynamic numerical simulation results show that the influence of wing damage on aerodynamic characteristics is related to the degree of damage and angle of attack. The main results are as follows:(1)The greater the degree of airfoil damage, the smaller the slope of the lift coefficient and lift coefficient curve.(2)With the increase of the degree of wing loss, the drag coefficient decreases gradually;at low angle of attack, the influence of wing loss on drag coefficient is relatively small, while at high angle of attack, the influence of wing loss on drag coefficient becomes greater and greater.(3)The roll torque coefficient increases with the increase of the degree of wing loss, and the larger the angle of attack, the greater the influence of wing loss on the roll torque coefficient.(4)the greater the wing loss is,the smaller the pitch torque coefficient is,and the change rate of the pitch torque coefficient decreases with the increase of the angle of attack. When the angle of attack is 6 degrees,25% of the wing damage compared with the non-damage model, the lift coefficient is reduced by 5.4%,the resistance coefficient is reduced by 13.5%,the pitch torque coefficient is increased by 10.7%,and a larger rolling torque is produced.(5)the effect of horizontal tail damage on aircraft aerodynamic characteristics is roughly the same as that of wing surface damage, but the effect is smaller. |
