With the development of science and technology, brain research has expanded from passive monitoring to active regulation.transcranial Alternating Current Stimulation(t ACS)is a direct and effective brain regulation technique.Current studies have focused on its effect on behavior. Some studies have also studied the neuroelectrophysiological characteristics of t ACS regulation. However,in the process of t ACS stimulation, there are a large number of t ACS artifacts in the EEG signal recorded synchronously, the amplitude of which is several orders of magnitude higher than the EEG signal number, and the frequency is usually within the EEG frequency band. Therefore, the problem of artifact removal in the synchronous EEG stimulation is also widely concerned.Based on the above t ACS artifact problem in synchronous EEG electrical stimulation. An adaptive Discrete Fourier Transform(DFT)artifact removal method was proposed in this paper.Adaptive DFT was validated on simulated and real data and compared with other methods. In the simulation data verification, correlation coefficient, root mean square error and other indicators were used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, and the comparison was made with the existing two methods. The results show that the proposed adaptive DFT method can effectively remove t ACS artifacts and retain more EEG information near the t ACS frequency than the existing methods. In real data verification, sample entropy, kurtosis, relative power value and other indicators are used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, and comparison is made with the existing two methods.event-related potentials(ERP)can be extracted from EEG signals after artifact removal using the method presented in this paper, and there is no significant difference between ERP without t ACS stimulation(latent period: p=0.5657;Amplitude: p=0.9118).The results show that the proposed method can effectively remove t ACS artifacts from synchronous EEG stimulation, and retain more EEG information than the existing methods(relative value of power spectral density: p<0.001).To sum up,this paper proposes and implements an adaptive DFT artifact removal method for the t ACS artifact problem in synchronous EEG stimulation, and verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method and its advantages over existing methods by using simulated data and real experimental data.
