In recent years, with the gradual development and advancement of road reconstruction and expansion projects in the old urban areas of our country, the safety of shallow foundation building slopes has become a major difficulty in engineering construction. It is still relatively simple, and there are few studies on the stability of shallow foundation building slopes under the action of rainfall infiltration and pile-anchor support. Therefore, this paper relies on the road improvement and reconstruction project of the southern section of Yuehua Street in Changsha City, using theoretical calculations,Using the combination of numerical simulation and deformation monitoring, the slope stability and automatic deformation monitoring technology of adjacent existing shallow foundation buildings are explored. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on the theory of limit analysis method and logarithmic spiral sliding surface,a limit analysis upper limit method suitable for slope stability analysis of shallow foundation buildings is proposed, and the optimization function fmincon in MATLAB is used for iterative calculation. The safety factor of the slope is compared with the limit equilibrium method. The results show that the difference between the safety factor calculated by the upper limit method of the limit analysis of the shallow foundation building slope proposed in this paper and the calculation result of the limit equilibrium method is within 2%.(2)Using ABAQUS finite element software, the stability of shallow foundation building slopes under rainfall infiltration is studied. In view of the difficult and complicated problems that ABAQUS calculates the safety factor of shallow foundation building slopes after rainfall,it is proposed to adopt temperature control parameters. The results show that the temperature control parameter reduction method is more suitable for solving the slope stability problem with rainfall-geo-soil-building interaction.(3)The three-dimensional numerical simulation of the excavation and pile-anchor support process of the shallow foundation building slope relying on the project is carried out.The results show that the pile-anchor support structure can effectively limit the upward extension of the plastic strain zone of the slope when the ultimate failure occurs Improve the stability of the slope;the safety factors of each working condition of the slope are 1.87,2.09,2.32,and 1.78,which are all greater than the first-class permanent slope stability safety factor of 1.35,and the slope is in a stable state during the construction process.(4)The secondary developed automatic monitoring program is used to monitor the three-dimensional deformation of the slope during the construction process, and the measured data is compared with the results of numerical simulation. The accuracy of manual measurement is not very different;the measured value on site is similar to the numerical simulation value, and the results show that the deformation of the slope during the construction process is within the controllable and safe range.
