Research On Propagation Characteristics Of Broadband Miniaturized Metamaterial Structure

Abstract/Summary:
Metamaterial is an artificial structural material consisting of subwavelength units,either periodic or non-periodic.Through the design of structures,materials or the combination of the two,the control of electromagnetic fields can be realized.Thus,metamaterial has many applications in electromagnetic stealth.At present,the design of metamaterial structures with wide band,micro size,and convenient processing is still a hot issue in the academic and industrial research.Therefore,in this paper,a series of wideband micro absorbing metamaterial structures and transmitting metamaterial structures are designed,modeled and numerically analyzed to evaluate their electrical properties from the perspective of adjusting the structural shapes using electromagnetic simulation techniques.The main work is as follows:1.The absorbing metamaterial structures based on stacking method are studied.For the problems of narrow absorption band of the single resonator and the limitation of thickness and number of layers of the stacked structures,the absorbing structures are stacked with the circular pathes and notched circular rings.The S-parameters,wideband absorbing properties and polarization characteristics of the structures are simulated using electromagnetic simulation software.The electromagnetic field distributions and surface current distributions of the structures at the operating frequency are analyzed to study the mechanism of the absorbing metamaterial structures.The sample parts are fabricated using micro-nano processing technology and waveguide method measurement platform is built to verify the correctness and feasibility of the designed structures.2.The ring transmitting metamaterial structures are studied.Based on the method of increasing resonant structures,the multi-layer transmitting structures with wide band and micro size are designed to address the problem of narrow band of double-layer square ring structures.The S-parameters,wideband transmitting properties and electromagnetic field distributions of the square ring structures are simulated.The transmitting structures and transmitting mechanism of the dipole model are studied.3.The attracting,aggregating and transmitting metamaterial structures are studied to regulate electromagnetic wave.For the propagation characteristics of electromagnetic wave,the wideband micro attracting,aggregating and transmitting structures consisting of L-shaped structures are designed.The introduction of the L-shaped structures does not change the propagation of electromagnetic wave,while forming the convergence of electric field energy.The electric field distributions of the L-shaped structures are simulated,the attracting,aggregating and transmitting properties are analyzed and the structures are optimized from the perspective of polarization.
