Raised terrain is a very common site topography that has a great influence on the propagation of seismic waves. In the case of a regular site,it is usually possible to solve the problem by the analytical method. But in a complex site,it is difficult to solve the problem with the analytical method, and the numerical method is generally used.In this paper, the ansys finite element software and multiple transmission formula(MTF)are combined to calculate and analyze the seismic response of the arc-shaped raised ridge under the SV wave incidence. The main tasks are as follows:1.The seismic response of the circular curved raised ridge is simulated using the numerical calculation method described above. The surface displacement time-course simulation results are obtained by Fourier transforms to obtain results in the frequency domain. At this point, the frequency domain is solved as the result at the actual frequency and then converted to the amplification coefficient at the dimensionless frequency. Finally,it is compared with the analytical solution in the existing literature, which verifies the correctness of the method used in this paper.2.This chapter studies the field response of circular convex ridges in uniform half space at the SV wave incidence. The effects of incidence angle, incidence frequency, ridge aspect ratio, ridge spacing and adjacent bumps are analyzed. The results show that:(1)The angle of incidence affects the surface displacement spectral amplification coefficient of the hill. The angle becomes larger, and the magnification coefficient becomes larger. With the increase of frequency, the change of the amplification coefficient tends to be stable.(2)The aspect ratio and the raised spacing have a certain influence on the amplification coefficient, but the law is not very uniform;(3)When the input wave is larger than the width of the raised terrain, the effect of adjacent bumps can be ignored.3.This chapter studies the field response of circular convex ridges in layered half space at the SV wave incidence. The effects of incidence angle, incidence frequency, ridge aspect ratio, ridge spacing and adjacent bumps are analyzed. The influence of different incidence angle, incidence frequency, ridge aspect ratio, ridge spacing, adjacent bumps and other factors are analyzed. The results are similar to that in the uniform half space, but the magnification factor is larger than that of in uniform half-space.
