Metallogenic Regularity And Ore-controlling Factors Of Molybdenum Ore In Mesozoic Volcanic Basin Of Northern Hebei Province | Posted on:2023-06-12 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:Y Chen | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2530307025992909 | Subject:Mineralogy, petrology, ore deposits | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | The Mesozoic volcanic rock basin located in North Hebei is one of the important volcanic uranium-molybdenum metallogenic belts in North China.In recent years,the exploration of uranium-molybdenum ore in this area has attracted much attention.More than 10 uranium-molybdenum polymetallic deposits and mineralization(mineralization)sites have been found in the area,most of which are subvolcanic hydrothermal type,mainly occurring near the contact zone between volcanic rocks of the Zhangjiakou Formation and subrhyolite porphyry in the Early Cretaceous,and characterized by multi-stage mineralization near regional faults and volcanic structures.Based on the field geological survey and the summary of previous data,this paper describes in detail the geological characteristics of various typical deposits,ore bodies,ore features and alteration characteristics,and comprehensively reveals the molybdenum mineralization information.The metallogenic regularity and ore-controlling factors of uranium-molybdenum deposits in the area are systematically summarized,which lays a foundation for the exploration and research of uranium-molybdenum deposits in the study area,and improves the understanding of uranium-molybdenum mineralization in the study area,so as to better expand the prospecting potential in the known deposits and the surrounding areas.Focusing on Zhangmajing,Madaokou,Daguangchang and Yangmugou uranium-molybdenum deposits,this paper concludes that the Uranium-molybdenum deposits in the Mesozoic volcanic basins in Northern Hebei are mainly distributed in the margins of Mesozoic fault basins.Uranium-molybdenum mineralization mainly occurs in the Middle Cretaceous subrhyolite porphyry and its contact zone,cryptoexplosion breccia and nearby interlayer fissure.The deposit is of middle low temperature volcanic hydrothermal type,and the ore-forming stage is after the Early Cretaceous.It is controlled by regional tectono-volcanic magmatic activity,latent volcanic rock mass and regional deep faults in the Mesozoic and Cenozoic.And further through geochemical anomaly analysis to find the favorable prospecting area,in order to provide theoretical support for the future prospecting work. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Mesozoic Era, Hebei north, Molybdenum deposit, Metallogenic regularity, Ore-controlling factors | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
