In recent years, magnetic detection technology has been widely used in Marine resource exploration,non-destructive testing of submarine pipelines and military early warning of coastal defense.Due to the inherent natural conditions and the development of vibration and noise reduction technology, the traditional acoustic detection technology can not meet the needs of underwater detection. Therefore,it is necessary to develop magnetic detection technology as an effective supplement.Magnetic field is an important exposure source of underwater targets. Many studies have shown that the magnetic field of warships and submarines in water is a signal source that can be detected and identified.Compared with other detection methods, magnetic detection has the advantages of cross-medium detection,anti-electronic interference, strong identification ability, short running time and low cost.Magnetoelectric coupling sensor is a magnetic sensor prepared by magnetoelectric effect, which has the advantages of high sensitivity, low noise and low cost compared with fluxgate sensors commonly used in magnetic anomaly detection. In this study,a magnetic dipole model is constructed to analyze the characteristic signal, and a magnetic target positioning estimation system is established based on the magnetoelectric coupling sensor array. Finally, the reliability of the method is verified by simulation.According to the demand of practical application, the experiment of this paper adopts the magnetic source of equal proportion to carry out the experiment under two conditions: the target of different magnetic moment direction and the sensor of different sensitive axis direction. The experimental results show that the positioning error of the system can be less than 3cm in the area of square meters, and the average positioning error rate is kept at about 3%-6%.The positioning system established in this study has been verified by experiments and obtained a good positioning effect, which establishes a foundation for the engineering application of magnetoelectric coupling sensor in the field of underwater magnetic anomaly detection.
