After an earthquake occurs, providing the optimal evacuation routes from each affected site to refuge areas in a timely manner is of vital importance for making rational rescue decisions and reducing casualties. The accumulation of debris from buildings along the streets after the earthquake is one of the key factors that contribute to the decrease in road capacity. To consider the influence of seismic wave characteristics and the direction of building collapses on debris accumulation, this paper adopts a numerical simulation method for debris accumulation in urban building clusters based on a city seismic damage simulator and the Bullet Physics engine. The research focuses on the post-earthquake traffic network accessibility and emergency evacuation route planning. The main contents of this paper include:(1)By combining analytical tools such as the city seismic damage simulator and the physics engine,a numerical simulation method is established for evaluating the traffic network accessibility based on the destruction of building clusters, debris accumulation, and road blockages.Factors such as seismic wave characteristics, the extent of debris accumulation from buildings, and the direction of building collapses are considered at the physical level to assess their impact on the traffic network. This method is applied to reproduce the traffic network status in Longtoushan Town during the Ludian earthquake, validating the rationality of the numerical approach.(2)A traffic flow allocation method for post-earthquake emergency evacuation is developed based on the analysis results of traffic network accessibility.Classical user equilibrium models and the Frank-Wolfe algorithm are employed for modeling and solving the problem. The entire analysis process is implemented programmatically, and evacuation route planning for Longtoushan Town after the earthquake is presented through a case study.(3)By comprehensively utilizing building seismic damage simulation, debris accumulation numerical simulation, assessment of remaining road capacity after the earthquake, and traffic flow allocation analysis methods, this paper investigates the impact of factors such as intensity on the seismic vulnerability of urban traffic networks and the determination of optimal emergency evacuation routes. The research is conducted using a prototype of the core area of a large city, and through parameter analysis, the influencing patterns of seismic hazards and optimal emergency evacuation routes in urban traffic networks are revealed.
