Quantum communication refers to a new type of communication that uses quantum mechanics for information transfer and can theoretically achieve unconditional secure communication.The key step in quantum communication is that the secure transmission of quantum states between users even in the presence of eavesdropping.Wavelength division multiplexing(WDM)technology can transmit multiple messages at the same time,and the combination of WDM technology and quantum communication can realize quantum communication from point-to-point to networked applications.Currently,quantum communication is gradually reaching long-range,high bit rate,multi-user and networked scale.In this paper,the first two chapters first briefly introduce the history of classical cryptography and the reason for the emergence of quantum ciphers,leading to the most mature area of quantum communication development-quantum key distribution.Then the basics of quantum mechanics required for quantum communication,QKD systems and communication models,and four typical QKD protocols and their calculation methods for secure key rates are introduced.Chapter 3 introduces wavelength division multiplexing techniques and systems,the advantages and key experimental examples of quantum key distribution applying wavelength division multiplexing techniques.Chapter 4 provides a detailed analysis of the performance of wavelength division multiplexing-based pairwise dual-field quantum key distribution in the context of existing quantum key distribution networks.The impact of excess noise accepted at the measurement end of the classical and quantum signal co-fiber transmission process on the secure key rate of the quantum key distribution system is quantitatively analyzed under different channel parameters.The wavelength division multiplexing technique is applied to quantum key distribution to provide a reference for realizing a multi-user quantum communication network with both confidentiality and high speed.
