With the in-depth study of nano-optics,photonic devices with lower loss and higher integration have become the focus of research.Hybrid plasmonic waveguides have excellent performance in low loss and become the research object of scholars.Therefore,a breakthrough research progress has been made.This paper aims to study the transmission performance of low-loss hybrid plasmonic waveguide.By combining the hybrid plasmonic waveguide with Bragg grating and chirp structure,a TM mode filter with superior band gap effect is designed.At the same time,a TM pass polarizer with compact structure,high extinction ratio and low insertion loss is designed through arch cylindrical core hybrid plasmonic waveguide.This paper mainly studies the hybrid plasmonic waveguide with lower loss and better performance and the polarization filter based on waveguide structure.Firstly,the ridge hybrid plasmonic waveguide is designed and discussed,and then the edge angle effect loss is reduced by structural size optimization.The hollow plate metal layer hybrid plasmonic waveguide and arch cylindrical core hybrid plasmonic waveguide are designed.According to the research and analysis of mode area,transmission distance and quality factor,the plate-shaped metal layer and arch cylindrical core hybrid plasmonic waveguide achieve the superior performance of low loss.Then,the waveguide Bragg grating structure is constructed,which mainly analyzes the transmission performance of TM mode,and uses admittance matching to optimize the transmittance at the passband on both sides of the forbidden band.At the same time,based on the Bragg grating,the chirped structure is used to broaden the transmission spectrum forbidden band width,and then uses admittance matching to optimize the passband transmittance,which has a very superior polarization filtering function.Finally,based on the arch cylindrical core hybrid plasmonic waveguide,a TM pass polarizer with wide narrow wide symmetrical structure is designed.The extinction ratio of the polarizer is greater than 60 d B in 1550 nm communication band,and the insertion loss is very low.The device structure can be flexibly adjusted according to the practical application to meet the needs of different bands.It has certain research value in the field of nano-optics.In this paper,through the research of hollow plate-shaped metal layer hybrid plasmonic waveguide and arch cylindrical core hybrid plasmonic waveguide,waveguide devices with low loss and excellent performance are realized.By arranging the chirped structure based on the waveguide Bragg grating structure,a photonic device with excellent band gap is designed.At the same time,a TM pass polarizer with wide narrow wide symmetrical structure is designed by using arch cylindrical core hybrid plasmonic waveguide,which has a very broad application prospect in the field of nano-optics.
