Microwave Power Transmission(MPT)technology is a research hotspot in the field of electromagnetic field.It directionally transmits energy from point to point in the form of electromagnetic wave.With the development of science and technology,microwave energy transmission technology is becoming more mature and has been popularized in military and civil fields.At present,microwave energy transmission technology has been applied in many fields,such as wireless sensor networks,Radio Frequency Identification(RFID),satellite applications and so on.Millimeter band microwave energy transmission system with its miniaturization,easy integration,high efficiency,strong penetration and other advantages,gradually become a research focus of microwave energy transmission.Based on the above background,this paper intends to carry out research on millimeter wave rectifier antenna,and makes detailed theoretical analysis and simulation comparison of each component of the rectifier antenna system.The main contents are as follows:A high-gain horn antenna based on Substrate integrated waveguide technology operating in Ka band is designed.The measured results are in good agreement with the simulation results,which show that the absolute operating bandwidth can reach up to 2.6GHz,and the measured gain is 8.3d Bi at35 GHz.The measured gain during the band of 36-39 GHz can be kept above above 10 d Bi.In addition,a rectifier circuit working in Ka band is designed as the rectifier part of the antenna,and the circuit uses a single diode parallel form.The measured results show that when the input power is 20 d Bm,the-10 d B impedance bandwidth of the rectifier circuit is 34.5-36.5GHz,the highest rectifier efficiency can reach up to 43%,and the maximum output voltage is 1.6V.The MMW-DC efficiency of the rectifier circuit keeps above 30% in the range of 14-20 d Bm input power.Furthermore,in order to improve the utilization rate of free space energy,the substrate integrated waveguide technology is still used to design a circular-polarized traveling wave antenna.The circular polarization performance is achieved by opening orthogonal slots on SIW.The measured gain is6.5d Bi,while the measured absolute bandwidth is 1.2GHz,and the axial ratio bandwidth is 1.0GHz.In order to improve the output voltage of the rectifier circuit,a voltage doubling rectifier circuit working in Ka band is designed.The simulation results show that the maximum rectifier efficiency is 55% and the maximum output voltage can reach up to 4.5V. |
