In recent years, neural networks have been widely used in the practical technical fields of pattern recognition, signal processing and associative memory, the dynamical analysis of neural networks has aroused a fever of research and many excellent results have been presented.Due to the limited signal transmission between neurons, time delay is unavoidable in neural networks, which may lead to bad performances, including instability, oscillation and even chaos. At the same time, with the development of modern engineering technology,in order to improve work efficiency and reduce control costs,we are more desirable that the synchronization goals can be achieved in a finite time.Hence, further research on the finite-time synchronization of delayed neural networks can not only improve the theoretical knowledge, but also play an important guiding role in practical application.Based on the existing literature,we further study the finite-time synchronization of two classes of delayed neural networks from the perspectives of models, theoretical methods and influencing factors. The following is a brief overview of this paper:Firstly, the finite-/fixed time synchronization issue of delayed Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with reaction-diffusion has been investigated.By designing a novel state feedback controller and constructing an appropriate Lyapunov functional, with the help of inequality techniques, several new criteria ensuring the finite-/fixed time synchronization of the considered model are derived. Finally,Matlab is used to simulate the model to illustrate the correctness of the results.Secondly,a complex-valued recurrent neural networks with discontinuous activations model is established.Based on decomposing techniques, the complex-valued neural networks model is divided into two equivalent real-valued subsystems,by designing a suitable state feedback controller, introducing a novel mathematical analysis, with the help of Filippov’s differential inclusion theory, measurable selection and inequality techniques, the criteria of finite-time anti-synchronization of the considered model is established without using the existing finite time stability theorem. Finally, numerical cases are given to prove the feasibility of the results.Figure [5] Table [0] Reference [70]...
