The Aesthetic Connotation Of Cinnamomum Camphora And Their Application In Ecological Landscapes

Cinnamomum camphora is a representative tree species of subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest.And the tree crown is tall,the posture is magnificent,the life-span can compare with the pine and cypress,but does not follow the custom,does not make a noise,has maintained the four seasons evergreen image unremittingly,has the unique esthetics value and the cultural connotation,it is regarded as a symbol of longevity,harmony,respect for the old,love for the young and modesty.Since ancient times,C.camphora have been appreciated and praised in various forms,such as poems,songs,songs,legends,essays,movies,songs and dances.Currently,C.camphora have become city trees in 37prefecture-level cities in China,provincial trees in Jiangxi and Zhejiang provinces.In the main distribution areas of C.camphora,from urban forests to village and town greening,from traffic arteries to rural roads,from street parks to village houses;ancient trees,strong trees,young trees,camphor trees everywhere,everywhere smell camphor incense,solitary planting,row planting,cluster planting,camphor that there is a scene,a single tree also into the forest.Camphor tree landscape constitutes a beautiful contemporary urban and rural landscape.Through collecting data,field investigation and typical case analysis,this paper systematically summarizes the evolution and development of aesthetic appreciation of camphor tree,excavates its aesthetic connotation,and describes its ecological landscape types and components,the planting mode and disposition mode of C.camphora in ecological landscape and landscaping were explored.The main findings are as follows:(1)With the development of civilization and the progress of knowledge,the appreciation of C.camphora can be analyzed in four periods,that is antiquity(before the Tang dynasty),ancient times(Tang dynasty to the Qing dynasty),modern times(Republic of China period)and contemporary era(after the founding ceremony of the People’s Republic of China).In ancient times,people mainly felt the shade of C.camphora,appreciated the tall beauty of C.camphora,and praised C.camphora as pillars of wood;in ancient times,trees gradually became people’s aesthetic objects,due to its majestic appearance,thick and shady crown and quiet environment,C.camphora is endowed with the humanistic image of pillar and talent.It is regarded as a symbol of longevity and modesty In modern times,the aesthetic value and cultural connotation of C.camphora have been generally recognized;in modern times,the forms of appreciating C.camphora are more diverse,the contents are more abundant,and there are more ways to spread it,not only appearing in poems,songs and literary works,there are a large number of C.camphora-themed photography,film and television works,C.camphora to lyrical,as well as the C.camphora as a good moral analogy.(2)The aesthetic connotation of C.camphora mainly includes: physical beauty-tall,vigorous,strange,upward;color beauty-evergreen in the four seasons,but colorful spring leaves,autumn fruit purple translucent;The beauty of artistic conception--Shade and one side,appreciating the harmony and unity of subject,object and environment;the beauty of lingering charm--dead wood and spring,the strange shape of trees blending with the environment and history of close-up;witnessing history--endowing stories with legends,to witness historical events,to bear culture,which can process various tangible cultural products,and to endow with rich spiritual and cultural connotation,is an important part of Chinese traditional culture and forest culture.(3)C.camphora has beautiful landscape,strong resistance to adversity,strong germination,tolerance to pruning,and wide distribution,long life,and various ecological landscape types in nature.The typical landscape types are flaky forest landscape,banded forest landscape and ancient C.camphora landscape.(4)In order to enhance the aesthetic value of C.camphora and make up its deficiency,it is necessary to take into full consideration the reasonable collocation with other plants,water bodies and architectural sketches in the application of ecological landscape and landscaping,single planting,row planting,cluster planting and group planting can be adopted.C.camphora aesthetics is an important part of forest aesthetics and ecological landscape,with high application and research value,fully excavating the aesthetic connotation of C.camphora,it should be applied to ecological landscape and urban landscaping,which is of great significance to ecological civilization construction,rural revitalization and improvement of human living environment.
