Since 1928,Danxia landform has been studied by domestic scholars as an independent landform type.With the enhancement of China’s national strength,Danxia landform is gradually moving towards the world.Since the Mesozoic era,the red bed began to deposit in the northwest of Wuyi Mountain,and a large number of distinctive modern Danxia landforms began to develop in the Cenozoic.The landscape types are complete and the scale is large,which provides an ideal place to study the characteristics of Danxia landforms.Taking the Danxia landform developed in the northwest of Wuyi Mountain as an example,this paper uses RS and GIS to analyze the spatial characteristics of Danxia landform from two aspects of remote sensing images and spatial distribution,then analyzes the formation of spatial characteristics from the perspective of landscape forming factors,and finally quantitatively analyzes the geomorphic evolution stage based on the area elevation integration method,The influence of landscape forming factors on the evolution rate of Danxia landform due to different geographical locations is discussed.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on landsat8 remote sensing image,the pseudo color RGB(7,5,4)band is determined as the interpretation band.It is found that the characteristics of Danxia Landform in different basins and different regions in the study area are obviously different.The porphyritic and massive in Xinjiang basin are mainly,and the strip is less.The strip distribution area in Nancheng,Shicheng and Huichang basins is larger than the porphyritic,indicating that the evolution rate of Xinjiang basin is faster.(2)Danxia Landform in the northwest of Wuyi Mountain can be divided into 17 categories.According to the average nearest neighbor analysis and buffer zone analysis,the closer to Wuyi Mountain,the greater the probability of Danxia Landform in agglomeration mode,but Nancheng and Shicheng basins are discrete modes;The quantitative and scale characteristics of Danxia landform are positively correlated with the distance between this area and Wuyi Mountain.(3)By outlining the development range of Danxia landform on the image,it is found that the quantity,density,type and scale of Danxia landform are positively correlated with the distance between this area and Wuyi Mountain.(3)Lithology,faults and rivers are the main factors for the formation of Danxia landform;The weathering resistance and compression resistance of lithology are the main factors affecting the types of Danxia landform;Faults affect the slope characteristics,landscape types and development direction of Danxia landform through differential uplift,fault zone and joint density and activity direction;The flow characteristics of the river affect the types of Danxia landform;It not only affects the type of Danxia landform,but also affects the evolution rate of Danxia landform.(4)The area elevation integration method is used to quantify the evolution stages of the red bed basin and Danxia Landform in the study area.It is found that the evolution stages of the basin and Danxia Landform in the basin are the same from the north to the south of Wuyishan,and they all change from old to young.This feature confirms the image characteristics of Danxia landform and the spatial differences of elevation and slope from north to south.It is also a response to the spatial differences of external forces caused by geographical differences in the study area.
