Objective:To analyze the expression of ANXA2(Annexin A2)gene in pancreatic cancer tissues,the relationship between expression and clinical features,and the relationship between expression and survival prognosis.Methods:The GEPIA online tool was used to analyze the differential level of ANXA2 expression in pancreatic tumors and normal tissues,and explore the impact of different expression levels in tumor tissues on survival and prognosis.The expression level of ANXA2 Protein was verified using The Human Protein ALTAS(HPA)online tool.Download pancreatic cancer transcripts and clinical data on the official website of TCGA,extract ANXA2 m RNA expression data,analyze the relationship between different expression levels of ANXA2 and clinical characteristics,and study related factors that affect the prognosis of pancreatic cancer patients.GSEA was used for gene enrichment to explore the possible pathogenesis of ANXA2 in pancreatic cancer.Results:The expression level of ANXA2 in pancreatic cancer tissues was significantly lower than that in pancreatic cancer tissues(p<0.05).The disease-free survival(P<0.05)and overall survival(P<0.05)of pancreatic cancer patients with high ANXA2 expression were significantly lower For patients with low expression.In terms of protein expression,ANXA2 protein was highly expressed in pancreatic cancer tissues.The expression level of ANXA2 is correlated with the degree of tumor differentiation and T stage(P<0.05),but has no correlation with the tumor’s N stage,age and gender(P>0.05).KEGG analysis showed that the high expression of ANXA2 is enriched in thyroid papillary carcinoma,P53,cancer,cell cycle,tight junction,DNA replication and other signaling pathways;GO analysis shows that ANXA2 is mainly involved in protein modification,cell connection,peptidase complex,galactosyl transfer,acyl transfer and other biological processes.Multivariate COX regression showed that the expression level of ANXA2 can be used as an independent risk factor for the prognosis of pancreatic cancer(HR=1.002,95%CI=1.000-1.005,P=0.047).Conclusion:The expression level of ANXA2 gene is closely related to the prognosis of pancreatic cancer patients,and may be as a marker and potential therapeutic target for judging the prognosis of clinical pancreatic cancer patients.
