Understanding the properties of quark-gluon plasma(QGP),which is a deconfined quantum chromodynamics(QCD)phase in high temperature and high density, has always been the central goal in the field of high-energy heavy-ion collisions. The suppression of the yield of heavy quarkonia in heavy-ion collisions can be served as a signal of the formation of QGP.Thus the in-medium properties of heavy quarkonia are of importance. In this study,we focus on the dependence of screening masses of heavy quarkonia on the temperature. The screening mass of heavy quarkonium can be extracted from its two-point spatial correlation function, which can be calculated via the simulation of quenched lattice QCD.In order to determine screening masses from the two-point spatial correlation functions of heavy quarkonia,we adopt two fit ansatzes:one-state fit ansatz and two-state fit ansatz. We also provide a complete set of methodologies for extracting the screening masses of heavy quarkonia from the corresponding two-point spatial correlation functions. The methodology includes the preprocessing of the original correlation function data, the complete fitting routines, the selection of the best fit through the corrected Akaike Information Criteria, and the determination of the final result. When comparing the screening masses of heavy quarkonia in T=0.75Tc with the corresponding data in PDG,it is checked that the hyperfine splitting of heavy quarkonia obtained by these two is consistent within a certain error range.By analyzing the temperature dependence of the screening masses of charmonia and bottomonia in different channels with zero momentum,we find that charmonia are more affected by thermal effects compared to bottomonia.Furthermore,by analyzing the screening energies of the heavy quarkonia in different channels with different momenta,it is found that the dispersion relations are not affected by the temperature significantly. And according to the comparison of similar studies in recent years,it is found that the superiority of the research methods in this paper is apparent and the results of the relevant research are perfected.
