Total organic carbon(TOC)refers to the total carbon content of dissolved and suspended organic matter in water.The determination of TOC is usually carried out by the national standard combustion method and the wet chemical method,but these two traditional methods have the disadvantages of complex test methods,long measurement time,slow speed and so on.This article uses the ultraviolet absorption spectroscopy measurement TOC,able to quickly,not adding reagent and does not produce pollution measure ocean TOC.But different from the traditional measuring method principle,national standard method can almost entirely combustion samples,make full oxidation organic matter.Marine environment compared to the lab environment is complicated,the TOC of the optical sensor to measure the vulnerable to the effects of the marine environment.For marine TOC optical sensor is easily affected by the marine environment,there are many interference factors.Therefore,this paper was funded by the ministry of science and technology of the People’s Republic of China for the research and development of total organic carbon optical in-situ sensor and online monitor in seawater,in order to further optimize the self-developed sensor prototype,reduce the influence of marine environment complex interference factors,and make the optical sensor with the traditional method in the measurement of ocean TOC concentration has good correlation,consistency,TOC optical sensor anti-interference techniques and realization methods of marine research.Firstly,through summarizing a large number of literatures to master the ultraviolet absorption spectrum principle of ocean TOC optical sensor and the relevant domestic and foreign research and development status,understand the theoretical basis of ultraviolet absorption and interference of TOC optical sensor,and choose the best spectral processing and analysis method.Secondly,the interference factors(turbidity,temperature,p H,nitrate nitrogen and salinity)affecting TOC spectral model were studied through the establishment of the spectral experimental system,and the corresponding compensation model was established.Thirdly,the interference factors existing in the offshore operating environment of the ocean TOC optical sensor were analyzed,and the corresponding hardware anti-interference structure of the sensor was designed and optimized for the interference of ocean pressure,ocean motion,marine biological activities and other factors on the normal operation of the TOC sensor.Finally,through the laboratory and the actual offshore test comparison experiment,the optimized TOC sensor prototype was tested to detect the accuracy and anti-interference ability of seawater TOC value,which laid a solid foundation for the subsequent optimization.
