Ecological Study Of Cephalomappa Sinensis Community On The Karst Hills In Southwestern Of Guangxi

Based on the plant sociology community surveys and statistical analysis methods,the community characteristics of Cephalomappa sinensis which include the species composition,life form,leaves class spectrum,species diversity,and community structure were studied.Results are as follows:1.Species composition:There were 36 families,55 genera,61 species of vascular plants.Ferns have 2 families,2genera,2species,Angiosperms have 34 families,53genera,59species.Angiosperms account for 96.72%of all plants in quadrats,Dicotyledonous plants account for 72.13%of the plant species in quadrats,the dicotyledons occupies a very important position in the community.2.Community appearance:Phanerophytes were dominant among the life form,especially the mesophanerophytes.The leaves were mainly leathery,simple and mesophyll.3.Community structure:The layered phenomena was very obvious of C.sinensis community which can be divided into arborous,shrub and herbaceous layer.C.sinensis was dominant in the arborous layer.The arborous layer is mainly composed of C.sinensis,Sterculia monosperma,Vitex kwangsiensi,Excentrodendron tonkinense.The arborous layer is divided into three sub-layers,C.sinensis distributed in every sub-layers,and has dominant position in the whole community tree layer.4.The species importance values of arborous layer:The importance values order of the species in arborous layer is C.sinensis>Excentrodendron tonkinense>Garuga pinnata>Vitex kwangsiensis>Streblus tonkinensis>Walsura robusta>Hydnocarpus hainanensis>Rinorea bengalensis>Sterculia monosperma>Pterospermum heterophyllum.
