Zimbabwe locates in the south-central Africa,3/5 of the land areas are Archean craton.The eastern boundary is of Mozambique metamorphic belt,the southern boundary is of Limpopo metamorphic belt,the northern boundary is of Zimbabwe metamorphic belt.As to west boundary,because of being covered by immetamorphosed Proterozoic and Cenozoic strata,it is unidentified.There are Proterozoic-Cenozoic sediments cover up the northwest area.Inside the craton widely developed granitic-greenstone terrane,ductile shear zone,granite,diorite intrusions,mafic-ultramafic iron intrusions are also well-developed.My research ares are:Hopewell platinum-palladium mine in the middle of Zimbabwe big dyke rock,Zimbabwe big dyke rock is in the southern edge of East African.The tectonic position of Rift Valley,northern of south African Shield,and in the Swire granite-greenstone of Zimbabwe craton.Magmatic activities are strong,there are more than one period,the main body contains gabbro,pyroxenite,olivine pyroxenite,gabbro peridotite;the granite of substrate complex of both eastern and western ore are of late time of every period:dolerite,diabase,diorite,granite,the pyroxenite is of platinum-palladium ore body,the ore-bearing rock.The layers of Big dyke rock are obvious,the vertical zonation is clear.into a layer of clear vertical zonation.The lithology from top to bottom of big dyke are:gabbro of upper layer,pyroxenite and olivine pyroxenite of middle layer,peridotite of lower layer.The layers of rock is synform,formed as west-to-east and east-to-the west,extending gently inclined to the core at a standard level.According to the research of various prospecting line profile map which is based on the original data of drill holes of the mine,the destruction formation of the mineralization period and the intrusion dyke along tectonic has a certain damage effect,mainly appears as depleted construction because of destruction formation;impoverishment due to miner destruction which even caused barren lot;some late dykes are "invaded" into certain part of the ore;ore body was pulled off/thinned or depleted.There is no fold structure which has no effect on the ore body;because the outcrop are mainly ultramafic-mafic igneous,it is easily influenced by weathering.By shallow-drilling data,this paper analyzes the impact at the position of 50-meter close to the earth surface.It shows there is no weathering impact inside deep part,so,basically,it won’t impact a lot of the ore body.Study 3D variation and distribution patterns of the ore body,the ore trend can be predicted,and this provides a further theoretical basis for the next step to carry out prospecting work in greater depth.With original drilling-data,by 3D modeling techniques,we can build 3D visualization model of the ore.This paper analyzes the morphological characteristics of the ore body,getting the conclusion that it is a synclinal structure,.The two wings tilted toward the middle in 12-15 degree,the thickness of the middle-deep ore body increases,while the thickness of the two wings decrease.And,this paper using space difference method/inverse distance methodto estimate the reserves,providing the basis for production and construction of the ore.
