Research On The Cultivation Of Vanguard Spirit Of College Students In The New Era

"A hopeful nation can not be without heroes,and a promising country can not be without pioneers." In 2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping clearly pointed out at the conference commemorating the 100 th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement: " No matter in the past,in the present or in the future,Chinese youth will always be the vanguard of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation." Encourage the majority of young people to be endeavour,pioneers,and devotees of the times under the leadership of the party,and join the people of all ethnic groups in the country to shoulder the important historical task.The vanguard spirit is the inner soul and spiritual support of vanguard power.To give full play to the pioneering role of young people,at first,we must cultivate the pioneering spirit of youth groups.In particular,Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,opening a new historical journey of building a modern and powerful socialist country in an all-round way.It is even more necessary for young college students to be guided by the pioneering spirit,strive to do,dare to do,and be good at being pioneers,take the baton of history,and realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in the continuous struggle.To this end,this article studies the pioneering spirit of college students from the following parts:The first part discusses the related theories of avant-garde spirit.From the connotation point of view,patriotism,responsibility,struggle,and innovation are the core elements of the pioneering spirit of the new era.Among them,the national sentiment of the world is the guidance,the responsibility of others is the prerequisite,the spirit of perseverance is the foundation,and the spirit of innovation is the driving force.In terms of characteristics,advanced,anachronism,continuity and practicality are the distinctive features of avant-garde spirit.In a sense,cultivating the pioneering spirit of college students in the new era is of great value for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,continuing the Chinese spirit,or helping universities to grow into talents.The second part investigates and analyzes the status quo of vanguard spirit of college students in the new era.Through investigation and analysis,it is found that the vanguard spirit of current college students is in the patriotic dimension.Patriotic sentiment is strong but rationality needs to be strengthened.The dream of a strong country is ambitious but not enough to unite with personal ideals.The desire to serve the country is strong but the practical action is relatively lacking.The dimension of responsibility,there is a basic knowledge but exists a tendency of standardization,a high degree of recognition but insufficient practice;the dimension of struggle,clear meaning but not deep understanding of connotation,strong external motivation but not enough internal motivation,strong stage but not enough sustained action;the dimension of innovation,a high degree of recognition of the value of innovation but the motivation is more limited,there is a certain degree of innovation awareness but the depth and breadth are not enough,the interest in innovation is strong but the hard work is not enough.Generally speaking,college students have a certain pioneering spirit,but there are also some shortcomings.The third part analyzes the reasons for the lack of vanguard spirit of college students in the new era in detail.After deep thinking and further discussion,it is found that there are four main reasons for this bad situation at present.First,college students have strong plasticity,relatively superior material conditions,digital survival and other intergenerational characteristics.The second is the weakening of educational function,the shift of focus and the secularization of ethos caused by the changes of family times.Third,the school level cultivation content system is not enough,synergism is not enough,the method is relatively single influence.Fourthly,the impact of bad western culture at the social level,the negative effect of market economy and the erosion of social injustices are also important attributions.The fourth part explores the path to cultivate the pioneering spirit of college students in the new era.The first is to improve the content system,innovate methods and means,and build a three-dimensional education pattern in order to improve the education system of college students' pioneering spirit.Second,it is possible to stimulate college students' endogenous motivation to be pioneers by methods such as mission,typical demonstrations,and emotional touches.Third,in order to strengthen the practice of pioneering spirit of college students,it is feasible to use methods such as to be a part of life,constructing the system of practical activities,permeating in professional practice.
