Mind map was first developed by the British scholar Tony.Bozan in the study of psychology,brain neurophysiology,creative thinking and other disciplines,on the basis of the development of brain science.At present,more and more people like using it.Mind map has been widely used in study,life and other industries.Senior high school students have formed certain thinking and methods in various aspects,and they have the desire and ability to try to solve problems.However,they are busy with the study and other things.What’s more,It is necessary to practice and application of Information Technology and Generic Technical Curriculum.Therefore,it makes very important to form a scientific and efficient learning and memory method in a limited time.The study and application of mind map can help students systematically summarize the knowledge in a limited time,form a certain knowledge network.That can achieve an efficient and effective learning,enhance students’ practical and thinking ability,and make knowledge visualization and systematization.In this study,two classes of Grade One students in the Second High School of Yiliang County were taken as the research objects,whose students have the same foundation,level and subject teachers.Yiliang belongs to Kunming City,Yunnan Province.One class is the experimental class and the other is the control class.According to the requirements of the research and the teaching content of the teaching material,the experimental class should use the mind map to carry out the new lesson teaching timely in the new lecture and review class.In the review class of each chapter or textbook,the students are guided or assigned to make the corresponding chapter’s mind map,so that the mind map becomes a method commonly used by the students in the experimental class in biology learning.At the same time,the wechat public account was established to upload the excellent mind maps used in the teaching process or made by the students themselves to the wechat public account,so that the students of the experimental class could pay attention to the wechat public account and achieve the purpose of sharing resources and achievements through the network.However,ordinary teaching methods are still adopted in the control class,and they are not required to follow the wechat public account.Through a study of more than a semester,the data of the biological scores of the two classes in the two mid-term exams before and after the study were analyzed and sorted by EXCEL software.It was found that the scores of the two classes with the same biological scores were much higher than those of the control class after the mind mapping teaching.Based on the questionnaire survey results and interviews with students in the experimental class after the study,the following conclusions are finally drawn:1.The use of mind mapping can stimulate students’ interest in learning.2.The use of mind mapping can stimulate students’ divergent thinking.3.The use of mind mapping can improve academic performance.4.The wechat official account platform will share students’ production results,which will enhance students’ confidence and enthusiasm for learning at the same time.5.The use of mind mapping allows students to gradually become familiar with another new method of learning and memory,and then transfer the application of other subjects,even for life.Of course,there are still many shortcomings in this study,there are too few classes of research objects,which are not convincing enough.Only in a grade selected class to carry out,the scope is small.And the application research of mind mapping is universal in the teaching field at home and abroad.But for me,it is a process of learning and self-breakthrough,a growth in my career.Moreover,this study combined the use of mind mapping with the results of wechat public account sharing,which is also a breakthrough compared with previous studies.It is also an exploration and innovation for this research institute to carry out school biology teaching. |
