Research On The Impact Of Equity Incentives On The Performance Of Enterprises On The Science And Technology Innovation Board ——Taking Espressif As An Example

Equity incentives,as a long-term incentive mechanism to stabilize and attract talents,are widely used by companies that rely heavily on human resources.Different from other listed companies on the main board,the positioning and characteristics of listed companies on the Star Market are obviously different: priority is given to meeting the national strategy and enterprises with core technologies and strong innovation capabilities;and enterprises such as unprofitable,red chips and different rights of the same shares are allowed to be listed.The autonomy and flexibility of the equity incentive plan are also reflected in the science and technology innovation board,and the "second type of restricted stock" that is superior to the current equity incentive mechanism of the main board and vigorously promoted meets the characteristics and development needs of science and technology innovation enterprises,so that the incentive object pays the lowest capital contribution cost and time cost to obtain the target stock.The implementation of equity incentives can not only help enterprises retain core talents and improve team enthusiasm,but also attract talents from the outside market and provide guarantees for enterprises to maintain and enhance the competitiveness of the industry.This paper takes the listed companies on the Science and Technology Innovation Board as the research object,explores the characteristics of the content of the equity incentive plan,and analyzes the applicability of equity incentives to science and technology innovation enterprises.Taking Espressif Technology,the first Io T chip design company to announce an equity incentive plan,as an example,a detailed study was conducted,focusing on the horizontal comparison of the relevant performance indicators before and after the implementation of the equity incentive of Espressif Technology,and the vertical comparison with the industry average to explore the implementation effect of equity incentives;finally,according to the current equity incentive plan of Espressif Technology,certain optimization suggestions were put forward,which in turn provided certain reference for the sci-tech innovation board enterprises that implemented equity incentives.
