A magnetron is a vacuum electron cross-field device where perpendicular electric and magnetic fields determine the electron dynamics.The invention of the magnetron opened a new chapter in the development of vacuum electronics with compactness,efficiency,and reliability for a wide range of military and civilian applications: radar,industrial heating,plasma sources,and medical accelerators.The most common use of magnetrons is as a microwave source in microwave ovens,operating at 2.45 GHz.At present,the production volume of magnetrons for microwave ovens is also expanding,and it is developing in the direction of miniaturization and rectangularization.The design idea of this thesis is to specialize the magnetron tube core,and to study the special-shaped magnetron for microwave ovens.As one of the most important devices in microwave ovens,magnetrons for microwave ovens are developing in the direction of miniaturization and flattening,and have broad market prospects and huge economic benefits.Aiming at the flattening requirement of the magnetron,this thesis designs a 16-chamber shaped magnetron for microwave ovens.The length of the anode cylinder is 48.5 mm along the x-axis direction,the width along the y-axis direction is 40 mm,and the cathode is along the x-axis direction.The length is 12.5 mm and the width along the y-axis is 4 mm.CST simulation software is used to model and simulate the special-shaped magnetron.The magnetron works under the conditions of a working voltage of 4300 V and a working magnetic field of 0.17 T.The current is 1.31 A,the peak output power of 4141 W is output at 2.466 GHz,and the efficiency is about 73.5%.The main contents of this article include:1.Introduce the development history of magnetron and the research status of microwave oven magnetron,as well as the basic theory of magnetron.2.Design the resonant system of a magnetron with a 16-cavity special-shaped microwave oven,use the CST computer simulation software to model the cold cavity of the resonant system,and simulate and analyze the size parameters that affect the resonant frequency,so that the resonant frequency of the ? mode is maintained at 2.45 GHz nearby.The whole tube structure of a 16-cavity special-shaped magnetron for microwave oven is designed,and the cold cavity modeling of the special-shaped magnetron is carried out by CST software,and the influence of relevant parameters on the resonance frequency of the special-shaped resonant system is discussed.3.The working principle of particle simulation is analyzed.Under the CST particle simulation project,the thermal cavity was modeled for the whole tube,and the magnetron thermal cavity was simulated.The changes of the relevant parameters to the performance indicators of the special-shaped magnetron are analyzed,and the size of the magnetron is further optimized and simulated,and a relatively good working state is obtained.4.The results show that after the special-shaped design of the magnetron die,the cathode emission surface area can be increased,and the anode current and output power can be improved under the condition that the cathode emission capability remains the same as that of the cylindrical microwave oven magnetron,and the output efficiency is basically the same as that of the existing cylindrical microwave oven magnetron.
