Scanning radar plays an important role in applications such as autonomous landing of aircraft,battlefield situational awareness and terrain avoidance.Its azimuthal resolution is constrained by the beam width and cannot meet application requirements.The resolution technology achieves the inversion from the data domain to the target domain by using the target domain information contained in the scanned echo sequence,which is an important technical way to improve the angular resolution of scanning radar.Focusing on improving the resolution of scanning radar,the thesis focuses on the super-resolution model,super-resolution performance and methods.The main work and innovations are as follows:(1)The array equivalent model of scanning radar is established.and the sequential echoes are mapped to the low-dimensional array element domain by scanning the highdimensional beam domain,which not only solves the problem of accurate analytical characterization of the super-resolution model,but also realizes the data dimensionality reduction.(2)The theoretical bounds for the front-view super-resolution of airborne radar are derived,and established the link between super-resolution performance and radar system parameters and echo signal-to-noise ratio,which provide a theoretical basis for evaluating the performance of the array equivalent super-resolution method.(3)An angle super-resolution method for target off-grid matching tracking is proposed,which solves the target azimuth information by iteratively optimizing the signal subspace and grid offset alternately.It not only solves the problems of low accuracy for super-resolution methods,but also greatly reduces the computational complexity.Computer simulation experiments as well as the actual project measurement data verify the effectiveness of the super-resolution model and super-resolution method.The results show the array equivalent super-resolution method of scanning radar can improve the angular resolution at least 3 times compared with the real beam scanning method.
