| At present,the accelerating process of global economic integration and the rapid development of technology have led to overcapacity in many industries,which has brought fierce market competition and enabled consumers to have a lot of choice.In such a market environment,breaking through the functions homogenization,touching and pleasing consumers emotionally is an effective way to make products stand out from the competition.Therefore,emotional design is a very important topic at present.The purpose of this research is to explore new methods and new perspectives of emotional design.This project takes synaesthesis theory as the key point of emotional design research,deeply discusses and constructs the relevant industrial design methods,and carries on the design project.First of all,I have conducted extensive literature review on synaesthesis theory,studied the definition,principle,category and application of synaesthesis phenomenon,and then carried out in-depth literature research on the direction of synaesthesis design,to try to understand the current application status,methods and design cases of synaesthesis theory in the field of industrial design.Based on these existing research contents,I focused on the bedroom speaker,and carried out the synaesthesis design method of bedroom speaker industrial design and the corresponding design project.The achievement of this project mainly include: 1.A set of synaesthesis design method is proposed by researching,sorting out and summarizing relevant literatures;2.Completed the design project according to the design method proposed in this paper;3.The synaesthesis realization degree about design work is evaluated,which verifies the feasibility of the bedroom speakers synaesthesis design method proposed in this paper.The design process of bedroom speakers based on synesthesia theory is divided into five stages.The first step is the user research stage.Through the investigation of design preferences of target users,relevant data are obtained to guide the subsequent design schemes.The second step is to extract design concepts.The ZMET method is used to conduct interview experiments to obtain participants’ potential ideas and needs to extract design concepts.The third step is synaesthesia translation.The sensory image description method is used to organize some target users to perform synaesthesia translation on the design concept in order to obtain relevant sensory elements.The fourth step is the selection of synaesthesia symbols and synaesthesia symbols.According to the actual situation,appropriate elements are selected from many sensory elements obtained from synaesthesia translation as synaesthesia symbols and synaesthesia symbols.The fifth step is the scheme design,which designs and processes the intrinsic awareness symbols in the previous step,and designs a complete scheme based on the results of user preferences in the first step.The work of this design project and the design evaluation conclusions show that the bedroom speakers synaesthesis design method proposed in this paper is effective.Through the design project of this subject,it can also be inferred that the synaesthesis theory has certain application value in the emotional design for other kinds of product,ant it is a new and feasible key point for emotional design. |
