Color widely exists in human production activities, which is the fastest way for us to obtain information in visual perception. This study mainly focuses on the color factors in visual perception, combined with behavioral experiments and electrophysiological experiments,to explore the influence of acquired color learning on color perception. In the related research of color perception, color category perception effect(color CP effect)refers to that people's ability to distinguish color pairs from different categories is stronger than that from the same category. At present, there are three hypotheses of color CP effect: Universal evolution theory, language relevance hypothesis and interaction theory.According to the universal evolutionary theory,it is innate perception that determines people's ability to distinguish colors;according to the linguistic relevance hypothesis, people's perception of colors is influenced by acquired language and cognition, not a perceptual phenomenon;according to the interaction theory, color perception is influenced by both innate perception and acquired cognition.Although there are a large number of experiments to verify and support three hypotheses mentioned above, the mechanism of color visual effects is still unclear. In addition, there is a lack of comprehensive and specific experiments to clearly explain whether the acquired learning and cognition of color play a role in the process of color perception. In order to explore the influence of postnatal color learning on color perception, three experimental groups were set up in three experiments.Utilizing the pretest training posttest paradigm, the differences of experimental indicators before and after color learning in different experimental groups were compared, and the influence of learning tasks in different experimental groups on the experimental results was analyzed.Experiment 1 mainly explored the universality of color CP effect and the influence of training tasks on color CP effect. In Experiment 2,the phenomenon of color CP effect lateralization and the effect of learning task on color CP effect lateralization were studied. In order to obtain more reliable experimental results,Electroencephalogram(EEG)technology was used in Experiment 3 to analyze the amplitude and latency of visual difference wave(v MMN)under different experimental conditions. The results show that:(1)people are sensitive to color difference and category, and there is color category perception.(2)Both left and right visual fields exist color CP effect, and the significant level is the same, but the right visual field may be more sensitive to color perception.(3)Acquired cognition and learning can affect people's perception of color, and this effect has been reflected in the early stage of attention according to the results of analyzed EEG and behavioral data.In this study, the same group of subjects were tested before and after the experiment, eliminating the experimental error caused by individual differences between the subjects;in the experiment, the experimental group of adjusting and eliminating the color boundary was added, which added strong evidence to clarify the role of postnatal learning in color perception. From an application perspective,it provides theoretical support for the selection and application of color in design, engineering, production activities and living environment. In addition, the acquired color learning also has important social significance for the improvement of sensory perception.
