The concept of artificial intelligence gradually took shape and developed in the1950 s.The "dialogue" with humans has always been an important criterion for judging machine intelligence in the discussion of "whether machines can think"-represented by Turing test and Searle's Chinese Room.Human intelligence cannot exist independently of language, and machine intelligence imitates human intelligence, and so it is.Wittgenstein advocated,in his theory of language games, that the meaning of language lies in its use,and that language cannot be completely separated from human life activities.Language has several fixed rules, but there are no specific rules in many aspects.Wittgenstein's linguistic game theory provides a new perspective for us to understand artificial intelligence. As an important concept in the theory of language games, life form cannot be completely separated from language games.According to Wittgenstein, under a lower standard, machines can play limited and rule-based language games with humans, and can perfectly surpass human beings;but they cannot fully realize the practice of human life practices. But it is based on anthropocentrism. To seek a broader development space for artificial intelligence, one must leave the theoretical framework of anthropocentrism.By following this approach,a future world of human–machine coexistence can be expected,in which humans and artificial intelligence participate in living practices and create new forms of life that are different from today's. |
