In this paper,we address the event-based(EB)H_?filter design and analysis of singular polytopic systems with or without time-delay and the event-based H_?control of discrete network systems.The main work of this paper is given as follows:1)The analysis and design of EB robust filters are dealt for discrete polytopic singular systems.By employing the event-triggered(ET)method,a discrete error description model with network-induced delay is first established.Applying the ET and Lyapunov function methods,sufficient condition is obtained for the error model with some H_?performance index.Furthermore,the existence of EB robust filter is verified for error generalized network systems,and the feasible conditions are characterized in form of linear matrix inequalities.2)The EB robust filtering problem is investigated for discrete polytopic singular systems with time-delays.A discrete error singular model with network induced-delay is established by using ET mechanism.Then,sufficient criterion is presented for the admissibility of error delay singular model via ET and Lyapunov function methods.In addition,the existence of the robust ET filter is proved for the error delay singular network system,and the existence condition of the filter is obtained by using linear matrix inequality approach.3)The EB finite time control problem is studied for discrete stochastic network control systems with norm bounded disturbance Firstly,a network induced-delay stochastic model is established by using the ET method.Utilizing the stochastic analysis,the criterion of stochastic finite-ime boundedness or stochastic finite time H_?boundedness are provided for the network model.Then,an EB finite-time controller and an event-triggered matrix are designed via matrix decomposition method such that the stochastic model is stochastically finite-time bounded.The feasible conditions are obtained applying convex optimization approach.
