The radome is one of the important devices commonly used in radar communication systems.Its function is to protect the antenna from a variety of extreme environments,and to normally perform its transceiver function.With the improvement of new technical requirements for wireless devices,the traditional radome can no longer meet the requirements of modern technology,so the radome is required to have a frequency selection function,so people put forward a frequency selective surface(FSS)radome is used to achieve this goal.This research is one of the key technologies in this field that needs to be solved urgently.Therefore,the research has very important engineering application value and significance.The thesis selects topics in conjunction with scientific research projects,and studies the design method of frequency selective surface radome.The thesis first explains the relevant concepts of the research object of the thesis,the current research status at home and abroad and the background significance of the topic selection;Secondly,it discusses the related theories used in the thesis and the author's research work.The research work consists of two parts.The first part is the design of the C-sandwich frequency selective surface radome;the second part is the development of the frequency reconfigurable frequency selective surface radome.The specific content of the research work can be summarized as:1.Design of C-sandwich FSS radomeA C-sandwich FSS plane radome is designed,and the design scheme is given in combination with the engineering application requirements of the radome.The Jerusalem cross slot is used as the FSS unit for array formation.Taking into account the actual working conditions of engineering applications,the printed monopole array antenna is used to illuminate the C-sandwich FSS radome,and the integrated simulation design is carried out.The simulation design results show that the C-sandwich The transmission rate of FSS radome in the working frequency band of 6-7.5GHz is ?80%,the coverage angle is ?30°,the out-of-band working band is 2-4.1GHz,9.8-18 GHz,and the out-of-band suppression is ? 20 dB,reaching the technical index claim.2.Making of dual-frequency FSS radomeA hexahedral frequency reconfigurable dual-frequency FSS radome was developed.The frequency reconfigurable theory is used to design the frequency selection surface.By changing the on-off state of the PIN diode on the FSS radome,the operating frequency and wave transmission characteristics of the FSS radome unit are switched.The designed frequency reconfigurable FSS radome unit is arrayed into a hexahedral frequency reconfigurable dual-frequency FSS radome,and the dual-frequency omnidirectional antenna is placed in the center of the hexahedron as the radiation source of the FSS radome.The design results show that by changing the wave transmission characteristics of the FSS radome,the antenna loaded with the dual-frequency FSS radome realizes a 360° beam scanning range in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual frequency bands,and has been verified by experiments,measured and simulated results The good agreement shows the effectiveness of the design method.Finally,the main research work is explained and the problems that need further research are explained.
