VLC technology has good security,high modulation bandwidth,and licence-free optical spectrum.It has become a popular research field of indoor communication technology.However,the traditional indoor VLC system has the problem of small coverage field and the easily blocked optical link.Therefore,researchers try to combine VLC with other indoor communication technologies or deploy multiple VLC access points indoors,or use new modulation and multiple access technologies to solve this problem.Indoor VLC/RF heterogeneous network is one of the most important research directions of indoor communication technology.Traditional RF communication spectrum resources has become extremely scarce.While RF and VLC systems can coexist without interfering with each other,a heterogeneous network with large system capacity,high transmission rate,low access delay,strong reliability and flexible architecture can be constructed.In addition,the deployment of multiple VLC access points and the use of new multiple access technologies for resource allocation can effectively improve system performance.Therefore,this work studies the resource allocation in indoor VLC/RF heterogeneous networks and OFDMAbased indoor VLC networks.The specific content is as follows:(1)The work proposes an indoor VLC/RF heterogeneous network resource allocation algorithm.With the goal of maximizing the average data transmission rate of the system and ensuring the stability of the system,an optimization model of the indoor VLC/RF heterogeneous network is established.And then,an adaptive resource allocation algorithm is proposed.In this algorithm,Lyapunov drift is used to ensure the stability of the system,and resource allocation are decomposed into three sub-problems so that the complexity of the algorithm is reduced.The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can enable stability and performance optimization to be treated simultaneously,and improve the data transmission rate of the system.(2)In this work,the problem of resource allocation in OFDMA-based indoor VLC system is studied.The resource blocks in the system are allocated in time domain,and with the goal of maximizing the average data transmission rate of the VLC AP and ensuring system stability,an indoor OFDMA-VLC optimization model is established.And then,a low complexity resource allocation algorithm is proposed.Simulation results show that the resource allocation algorithm in the OFDMA system maintains system stability while reducing complexity and increasing data transmission rate by effectively selecting users with high gains for access.
