Artificial intelligence,born in the 1950 s,and experienced several ups and downs,again in the 21 st century enjoyed a new development,bringing with a new technological revolution and industrial revolution.However,in order to discern if there is a crisis of AI winter hidden again under that prosperity and development of AI,the development venation of AI is needed to be perceived.At present,there have been many excellent works on the development of artificial intelligence,but generally they mainly focus on subjective description or the composite analysis of several kinds of data in a short period of time.It is difficult to reveal the overall development law of the subject only through periodical data research,and it is also difficult to explore the deep development logic only through historical analysis.Artificial intelligence is difficult to define and describe the scope of research due to the complexity of its disciplines and the intersection of research fields.Therefore,this article chooses machine learning,which is the core technology of artificial intelligence and AI research that runs through the development of artificial intelligence.The basic concept is to limit artificial intelligence on the data level with points and areas.Milestone achievements in the development of science and technology often appear in the form of papers.The transformation and implementation of patents as scientific research results will promote the development of science and technology.Scientific research is also inseparable from financial support,scientific research funding support and national-level policies.Strategic and other support to a large extent determine the development prospects and trends of science and technology,but it is not clear how these related factors affect the development of artificial intelligence.Therefore,this article first selects papers,patents,funds,and policies as the article to reveal artificial intelligence.The clue data for intelligent development is based on the core collection of Web Of Science,Dawei's Innojoy search engine,and the National Science Foundation(NSF)fund data.Documents,patents and fund data,through the statistics and preprocessing of the data,the differences between the data are analyzed.Secondly,this article preprocessed and modeled evidence-based multi-source data.Although there is a certain correlation between the paper data,patent data,and fund data,because it is itself three different data sources,the differences between itself cannot be ignored,so choose to use the relative of the three data sources.The growth rate is compared,only the quantitative growth rate relationship is studied,and the multi-source data is preprocessed(data normalization and smoothing)on the basis of eliminating the differences between the three data sources,and Dempster is used-Shafer method conducts evidence-based modeling and fusion reasoning on multi-source data,and obtains the development trend of artificial intelligence based on reliability.Finally,in the context of the development of artificial intelligence supported by data analysis,this article qualitatively determines how factors such as policy and funding,theoretical innovation and development,the transformation of scientific and technological achievements,and the commercial application of artificial intelligence affect the development of artificial intelligence.Research combined with quantification.
