Due to the low security, poor mobility support, and poor scalability, the traditional Internet architecture cannot satisfy the requirements of the space-ground integrated network for autonomous security, management and controllability, reliability and stability, ubiquitous access, and on-demand transmission. It requires innovation in network architecture and protocol systems. The identifier network theoretically solves the above architecture problems. But,in order to apply it to the space-ground integrated network and simultaneously meet the above requirements,it is still necessary to further design a protocol system based on the identifier network technology. In this context, the thesis designs and develops the 16-bit Identifier Protocol(IDP)stack. The IDP stack is an important part of the autonomous construction of the space-ground integrated network through identifier network technology. The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly, the thesis analyzes the characteristics and requirements of the identifierbased space-ground integrated network protocol system and designs the system architecture and modules of the IDP stack based on the Linux operating system. After that, the thesis focuses on designing and implementing the network layer, transport layer, and configuration management interface of the IDP stack. The network layer of the IDP stack adopts a 16-bit addressing space and 8-byte simplified header, which satisfies the requirements of the isolation of user and network space,on-demand services based on user identity, and lightweight in the identifier-based space-ground integrated network. The transport layer provides support for the transmission control protocol, the user datagram protocol, and the lightweight user datagram protocol through the adaptation IDP.The configuration management interface provides convenience for users to configure and manage the IDP stack by using virtual file systems, system commands, socket options, etc.Secondly, the thesis proposes a concurrent multi-path transmission mechanism deployed at the network layer based on the IDP stack. This mechanism detects the oneway delay and congestion state of the path via sending heartbeat packets and adding extension headers to the data packets. Then, the path scheduling is achieved based on the path information and the concurrent multi-path transmission is realized via the tunnel technology. Finally, the thesis builds the corresponding topologies to test and analyze the IDP stack and the proposed concurrent multi-path transmission mechanism. The results show that the IDP stack can complete the task of building the identifier-based space-ground integrated network protocol system. The proposed multi-path concurrent transmission mechanism preliminarily realizes the function of transmitting packets via multiple paths.
