Machine-to-machine(M2M)communication,as one of the most promising technology in the next generation of communication systems,is connected to fully mechanically automated intelligent devices through wired or wireless links,so that they can be interconnected without direct manual intervention.This technology is widely used in smart grids,public surveillance,intelligent transportation,electronic health care and other fields.At present,the M2 M communication network mainly serves human-to-human(H2H)communication,and due to the differences between the two types of communication systems,there are many challenges in uplink transmission of the M2 M communication.A series of researches on the energy efficiency and resource allocation of M2 M uplink communication based on LTE-A network are conducted.The specific work is as follows:1.The theoretical basis of M2 M and LTE-A are introduced,including the basic concepts,composition and development status,etc.,and two classical M2 M uplink communication data scheduling algorithms are analyzed.2.An optimization problem of energy efficiency and resource allocation for M2 M uplink communication based on LTE-A is studied,and the corresponding mathematical models are established.Maximization of energy efficiency are taken as the objective function,and the corresponding constraints such as modulation and coding scheme(MCS)selection and LTE-A wireless resource allocation rules are introduced.Finally,considering the complexity of solving the fractional programming problem,this problem is transformed into a mixed integer linear fractional programming NP-hard problem with maximum energy efficiency,low transmission power loss,optimal MCS selection and resource allocation.A new linearization method is proposed to transform the problem into a mixed integer linear programming problem.MATLAB is used to build a simulation environment,and lp?solve tool is used to solve the problem.The algorithm is compared with heuristic energy efficiency algorithm and greedy algorithm.The results show that the proposed algorithm has higher energy efficiency,less bandwidth utilization and lower data dropping rate.3.An optimization problem of energy efficiency and resource allocation of M2 M and H2 H coexisting uplink communication based on LTE-A is studied.The network congestion problems of the lower priority delay tolerant devices,the higher priority delay sensitive devices and the highest priority H2 H devices are analyzed.According to the requirements of LTE-A uplink communication protocol and 3GPP power control model,the decision variables are found,the maximum energy efficiency objective function and its constraints are established,which is proved to be mixed integer linear fractional program problem.The Dinkelbach algorithm is proposed to obtain the optimal solution of this problem.In the simulation experiments,two kinds of experimental environments is set up,one is that the number of user eqiupments increases but the number of machinetype communication devices is fixed,the other is that the number of machine-type communication devices increases but the number of user eqiupments is fixed.The simulation experiments are performed according to the above two configuration environments The results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the system energy efficiency,reduce the dropping data rate and the bandwidth utilization compared with two classic algorithms.
