With the continuous development of mobile communication technology and multimedia technology,a large number of new scenarios and applications which need to be supported by multimedia services have appeared,that leads to a rapid increase in the variety and quantity of multimedia content in the Internet.The rapid growth of multimedia traffic has made it becoming the most important component of Internet traffic and poses a huge challenge to the existing communications infrastructure.Thus,one of the key issues of the future network is how to carry massive multimedia services and guarantee the user's service experience.In this paper,we combine the characteristics of multimedia service and wireless network scene for multimedia content sharing technology in D2 D network.We develope the content placement strategy and content sharing strategy for D2 D network,which improves the caching hit rate of caching system,reduces the repeated transmission of same media content data,thus reducing the multimedia service cost and improving the user's service experience.The main contributions of this paper are summarized as follows:Firstly,the challenges and opportunities of multimedia content sharing technology in the scenarios of D2 D network are summarized.We analyze the technical characteristics of the D2 D communication technology as well as the mobile edge caching technology,then we point out that the combination of these two technologies can effectively improve the user experience of multimedia services in wireless network scenarios.At the same time,by analyzing the technical superiority of existing technologies and the scenarios characteristics of D2 D network,we summarize the key problems which affect the performance of multimedia content sharing system in D2 D network,and point out the breakthrough point of the research accordingly.Secondly,in view of the difficulty in obtaining the popularity information in edge cache systems,we develpoment the popularity mining and content placement strategies of with unknown content popularity.Based on the randomness of devices' distribution and D2 D links,we build the model of D2 D caching system,and analyzes the caching hit performance of D2 D cache system under deterministic content popularity.Then,we combine the results of cache hit performance analysis with the Multi-arm Bandits problem,and design a cache placement strategy for D2 D cache system with unknown popularity based on online learning technology.Simulation results show that the proposed strategy has higher caching hit performance than the reference strategy,which proves the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.Finally,for the effcient utilization of the storage and downloading capacity of user devices,we propose a QoE-driven multimedia content segment sharing strategy.We introduce the content cache mechanism into the D2 D network scenario,which improves the fineness of the content placement strategy,so as to improves the media diversity and cache efficiency of the system.Then,we propose a QoE-driven cache placement and content segment distribution strategy based on user distribution,content preferences and network conditions.The proposed strategy provides differentiated services for users,balances the content quality and service cost of multimedia services for users,so as to improves the overall QoE performance of the system.Simulation results shows that proposed algorithm outperforms the algorithms without distributed content segments sharing mechanism in terms of QoE.It also demonstrates that proposed algorithm has better on the performance of cache content diversity and fairness.
