Bluetooth mesh is a mesh network technology based on Bluetooth low energy proposed by Bluetooth SIG in 2017.The Bluetooth mesh remote provisioning method developed by Nordic and other manufacturers utilize auxiliary nodes to relay provisioning messages,adding a large number of provisioning steps,resulting in a long time for remote provisioning.Therefore,designing and implementing an optimized remote provisioning feature to reduce the provisioning time is of significance for expanding the Bluetooth mesh provisioning range.Based on the Nordic remote provisioning feature,this thesis focuses on reducing the steps of remote provisioning.By introducing mechanisms such as node role transition,node automatic wake-up and node selection,the Bluetooth Mesh Time Optimization(TP-Remote)remote provisioning method is designed.Among them,the role transformation mechanism is to transform the auxiliary node into a temporary provisioner,which directly performs the provisioning work;the Automatic wake-up mechanism means that the auxiliary node can actively initiate a remote provisioning request according to the received packets;the node selection mechanism means that when an unprovisioned Bluetooth device receives multiple provisioning invitations,it can select a suitable neighbor node for the provisioning work based on the distance and the residual energy of the node.The above three mechanisms complement each other,simplifying the provisioning steps,thereby reduce the time of remote provisioning and improving the feature of remote provisioning.This thesis implements the TP-Remote remote provisioning feature based on the Nordic mesh protocol stack,and uses the hardware platform based on the n RF52832 minimum system for actual testing.The final test results show that the TP-Remote method designed in this thesis reduces the provisioning time by more than 28% compared with the Nordic method,and successfully improves the remote provisioning feature,achieves the expected design index.The work results of this thesis has certain practical significance and value for the application expansion of Bluetooth mesh provisioning feature.
