With the rapid development of the Internet, security and privacy issues have attracted much attention. As information carrier, images are widely used in various fields. How to ensure their safe storage and transmission on the network is one of the current research hotspots.Secret Image Sharing(SIS)is a protection mechanism for images. At present,SIS is mainly divided into polynomial-based SIS and Visual Secret Sharing(VSS).According to different image reconstruction methods, the former is divided into traditional(k,n)threshold SIS and Progressive SIS(PSIS).The traditional threshold scheme provides an "all or nothing"recovery mode, while the PSIS scheme can gradually reconstruct the original image according to the number of secret shares.Aiming at the problems of low security, poor progressive effect and flexibility during recovery, and low recovery efficiency in the existing PSIS schemes,we conduct in-depth research based on the existing schemes in this paper, mainly doing two aspects of work:(1)In order to improve the progressive effect of secret image restoration and increase the security of the scheme,a fine-grained PSIS scheme based on modulo operation is proposed. This scheme can achieve a more fine-grained progressive effect during image reconstruction. In addition, lightweight modular arithmetic is used to reorganize image blocks, which further improves security.(2)In order to improve the recovery efficiency and enhance the flexibility of the PSIS scheme,a PSIS scheme based on image semantic segmentation is proposed. This scheme combines image semantic segmentation with secret image sharing, which not only improves the efficiency of recovery, but also expands the application scope of the proposed scheme.Compared with the existing schemes, this scheme not only guarantees safety, but also increases the flexibility of the proposed scheme.
